For some reason on MAC I havent been able to open any of the last few updates. Does anyone know why this might be?
Not sure if this is intentional or not, but when you hit "resume from last patch" you can still do everything that was new to 2.6 actually. The tracker on your phone that says to help Summer find Trisha was from 2.6, and talk to Beth at night for her content.

You have to set the execute bit to the app to run the game.
Open the terminal, type "chmod +R +x" w/o the quotes, drag the game folder into the terminal window and hit enter.

i think 1 event will be the second part of unitys story that he couldnt finish in time for the previous patch.
on his patch 2_7 releasepost he also wrote this:
" I saw that a bunch of you were disappointed about the lack of Beth or Summer, so next month I’ll work on one or both of them as well!"
so if he didnt forget about it some summer or beth content should be included.
he also posted some weird lenseclip preview pic/videoclip of jessica. no idea if it had something to do with patch 2.8
couldnt find any info on Patreon if he tries to focus on a specific character/storyline though.

Open up your terminal application then type (without the quotes) "cd Downloads", then press enter (this is assuming the application is in your downloads folder).
Then type "chmod +x RMv2_7MAC.app/Contents/MacOS/RMv2_7MAC" in terminal and press enter again.
Now open the application.

That's a lot of characters to make scenes for. Usually he's consistent with rolling out 3 scenes every two months (specifically the 31st or 30th). Guessing he wants a change of pace
