I don't understand how to use some of the items and such. Is there any guide for that or should I just click around 'til I figure it out?
The items you get from enemies which make up most of the items cant actually be used but rather unlock the gallery room for the specific enemie you got it from, accessible through fast travel.
The rest of the items in the top 2 rows are just weapons, outfits and potions.

LOL, I found this in the readme files.
Her full name is "Roboco Rignetta" but the machine translator the developer used mistakes it for "Robotto" and suddenly she's robot for no reason. 
Edit: I still don't completely know what's up with the "Roboco" thing but I was apparently wrong... very wrong!
