And what is the point in that? Doesn't you get a game over screen if you are defeated? It is.
I think it's just some fun/silly flavor. Like how technically a player character would level up beating up monsters, they level up having their way with the protag. And what is the point in that? Doesn't you get a game over screen if you are defeated?
"Energy/Level Drain" is a fetish thing. I also like Nirvhan's answer. And what is the point in that? Doesn't you get a game over screen if you are defeated?
I see no value in that whatsoever. It's already hard to escape and too easy to get a game over..If you have the option enabled where enemies save their levels, then those enemies will permanently be more difficult the next time you encounter them. They'll deal more damage and you'll find escape more difficult.
See "option". Those are always nice to have.I see no value in that whatsoever. It's already hard to escape and too easy to get a game over..
I did. Even on the easiest setting, getting caught and not escaping INSTANTLY = death.See "option". Those are always nice to have.
I like the IDEA of that as long as the enemy in question isn't an unavoidable encounter. It's a decent option to have in my opinion. If you have the option enabled where enemies save their levels, then those enemies will permanently be more difficult the next time you encounter them. I think I know this games, and those things are punishment for your constant losing, wtf do you expect to get if you always lose?I like the IDEA of that as long as the enemy in question isn't an unavoidable encounter. It's a decent option to have in my opinion.
One game I've played had two bosses that you'd be COMPLETELY UNABLE to defeat if you lost to them twice. Thankfully the game had a failsafe where you could "deactivate" your weaknesses in order to be able to put up a fight again (or you could just reload an older save if you knew the risk in advance). Another game made it so that defeating the final boss would be almost impossible if you were too corrupted by the time you fight it (however, no failsafe with that one, you'd have to start over.)
Chill out, lol. I liked those games and yes I lost on purpose. I like this game so far too; I'm not even complaining.I think I know this games, and those things are punishment for your constant losing, wtf do you expect to get if you always lose?
If you love losing and being a corrupted bitch, why do you even expect to get a good ending or finish the game?
If you constantly, intentionally lose, than it's entirely your fault if you hardlocked yourself to a bad end or game over.
And even if porn locked behind defeat rape, expected that you watch a scene and then just load a save and move on.
It's a punishment for you being a loser.
Well, if you don't want to deal with consequences of your purposeful loses, just load a save every time you lose.Chill out, lol. I liked those games and yes I lost on purpose. I like this game so far too; I'm not even complaining.
The way I play these games is that I play to win and just complete it the first time around; the second playthrough I deliberately lose, fall for traps, and get my character messed up and corrupted. I usually avoid any increasing difficulty issues that way and just get to have my fun with it. (I do also sometimes make extra saves too.)Well, if you don't want to deal with consequences of your purposeful loses, just load a save every time you lose.
You supposed to win, and you get punished if you don't, that's how games work.
I tried to point out that such logic is wrong and won't do you any good, hostility was not intended.
