I think there's no more saying than this:
People that are still suscribed is because they know the game is not abandoned and try to give some feedback to the dev, either because they liked the game or they can allow themselves to have a suscription, literally no one is forcing their hand to pay.

yeah this should have abandoned tag based on what i've seen with other games, but it's not consistent. i think what's keeping it is that some people are convinced dev still working on it + every now and then dev post something here.
