One thing Ripples has (and other top tier games here have) are:

• Very good English. It pays big time to have someone with great English skills proofread and edit every written word in the game. It's simply not good enough to get the message across, it needs to be concise enough not lose the reader in a bunch of mumbo jumbo, but descriptive enough so that the emotion of every scene is conveyed.
  
  
• Very good humor. Every culture has their own humor, so you can't nail this for every reader, but humor that has people laughing out loud for real makes a huge difference in a game.
  
  
• Good characterisations. Players love it when the different girls come across like... different girls! And a little bit of depth to each character goes a very long way.
  
  
• Emotive facial features. The graphics don't have to be top notch, I mean compare Ripples early days to Ripples now, the graphics have significantly improved, but what hasn't changed is the girls facial expressions told you everything! When a girl looks like she's brainless, readers lose interest real soon.
  
  
• An intriguing plot. Something that keeps players wanting more, that keeps them talking between the episodes, is a huge draw card. It doesn't need Mission Impossible II twists and turns, it just needs to be enough that we care what happens next.
  
  
• Fun sex scenes. I can't vouch for everyone else, but watching some faceless dude ploughing some random woman can get boring. The banter/interaction between the characters while they are fucking is just as much a draw card as the fucking.

All the good games have most of the above, and strengths in some fields will allow weaknesses in other fields to be forgiven, but strengths in all fields is the ultimate aim.

I mean I agree with most of what you wrote but you kind of left out the most important part, it has some of the best graphics among H games. This includes the way he does fully animated scenes instead of just a bunch of stills and choppy skipping animation shit like many games do.

I looked up this 'Unlimited Pleasure' game after I saw the posts above (as others have said, I had never even heard of it before.) The first thing that jumps out at me is the art looks super dated, it looks just like the art in Mythic Manor. The second thing was, I absolutely hate 'ridiculous watermelon-sized tits that would dislocate the bitch's spine in real life' and the game appears to be full of that. So it's an instant no for me.

People will make a big part of their decision (interested or not) based on seeing a few screenshots when they first look up your game, and their continued engagement will be heavily influenced by whether the art inside the game is compelling. So the graphics are insanely important.

Overall and definitely for sex content, Skylar. There isn't a lot with Jessica in general unless you picked her over Skylar a few episodes back, and in comparison her sex content is fairly minimal even then.

Been a bit since last I played (I'm not one to replay before a new update comes out).
However, from what I remember, no one in the present was even a close second to Skylar.
I'm having trouble remembering who Jessica even is.
Couple other girls could have been the primary, but only if Skylar had stayed out of the picture.

On the other side the Tiffany story makes less sense with that patch, so I would forgo it...not that I like incest stuff to begin with...

And if the second trip to the past is also taken into account, the protagonist in all probability saved Jessica from that Eric scum, since he nearly punched Tiffany who at the time was pregnant with her (at least at the early stages).

People have brought up a lot if theories regarding that. The thing is, that Patreon forbids any form of incest in that direction.

That theory has been promoted by me a couple of times.
Prime candidates are the twins, Krystal, Skylar and Darci.

Main reasons why this is possible and even likely:
The man "briefing" MC for the second jump and rescuing/scolding/punishing him for the first one.
For the second jump it is deemed crucial that MC has a job interview at the plant that apparently is responsible for the death of his father and his aunt.
His dad is nowhere to be found with all the information MC had about him. He is neither at the plant nor in any college.
Krystals mom is extremely happy when MC gives her a crystal even though that crystal is later returned to MC. Whether or not he gives her the crystal influences if the future daughter is named Krystal or not.
Plus he is told by multiple older™ women how much he resembles his father.
Skylars mom has a panic attack upon seeing MC, flees the house and the city/country and forbids Skylar to even get close to MC ever again.

In my mind it is almost guaranteed that MC is the father of Skylar at the VERY least.

A patch is a patch, but if you want to build it in the actual story a patch that just changes a few words here and there would not be enough. So no, that just wouldn't work through a patch.

Even if what you said is true they would still have the same mother that still makes Jessica his sister or more precisely half-sister they would still be blood-related.

A stepsister is not family. They have different fathers and different mothers. The fact that they temporarily live in one house does not make them a family.
