It's one thing to prefer the present over the past, but to say the update was "wasted" ignores the obvious fact that this game is about time travel. By definition some updates are going to favor one over the other.

That's true as well. Just passed that portion of the story, and it only confirms that she's REALLY hiding a lot from the MC. I forgave her in the story (for the scene of course), but never really forgave her. If I was the MC, I would have made her work for it with more honesty.
The theory is, that she also traveled through time and that she is a somewhat older Skylar.
The whole thing made me restart and do a Jessica playthrough. I'm glad I did.
Currently using the Multi-Mod, which (I think) allows simultaneous paths. Jess is definitely worth it though, despite her over-the-top reactions you never can quite predict.

I'm not on the Darci path and that's part of the reason. I don't find her attractive (physically or personality wise) but I do enjoy a lot of the banter between her and the MC. I can understand their friendship but I can't see anything more.
