Its been awhile since those second claims started but they have been around for years at this point, and devs who had unofficial patches have also had their stuff nuked I just dont know if there was ever a specific "this is for breaking incest rule via patch" or if that was just the most obvious/only apparent one, it could also be that it was somehow shown to be made by the dev or any number of things that the public was made aware of. However as far as I know patreon doesnt always(?) put pressure/ask for the offending material to be removed and they seemingly straight up nuke the whole creator.I'm not really up to date with Patreon’s current policies, and I tend to be cautious about second-hand claims made by a few people. At this point, it feels more like a vague possibility than anything concrete.
As long as Patreon isn’t putting any direct pressure on the developer or doesn’t have any real leverage to force him to act against modders he’s not affiliated with, I don’t see much reason for anything to change.
I assume the modders share that kind of script either here or on third-party platforms that are not connected to Patreon.
I'm not an expert in legal matters, so I can’t give a definitive opinion on this either. I guess only Jestur and the person maintaining the multimod would really be able to answer that.
As for the multimod dropping the incest it could be dropped for whatever reason the "unoffical" one stopped being supported for example if "Jestur" "asked" the mystery patch maker to stop jestur could also ask the multimod person to not include the incest over fears of losing income regardless of how justified.
There is a reason/origin even vanilla incest (even if you have to patch them) games are more often found on other platforms and if they arent the first comments are almost always "gonna get nuked"
Obviously this only matter "if" multiuple things are true and its unlikey to matter until update after next as MC is still 20 years away from being able to commit incest even with the patch
