I have already read devs many times saying that they did not know that there was so much negativity with a certain tag and I think that either they have tried to make the game knowing what was going to happen but that they were going to be able to justify it in some stupid way, or The people who start to create a game have not come here much to read the comments of other games. Anyone who says they don't know that posting certain content isn't going to have negativity means they have no fucking idea what's going on here. And forgive me, I find it hard to believe. That excuse has already been widely used by many. Do you want to make an ntr game? do it. Anything you try to hide it with has already been seen a thousand times so don't look for excuses. It's your game, it's your taste. But don't say "ah, I didn't know...."

Doesn't seem there will be heavy, sad-boner-inducing ntr. There are girls interested/in love with the MC while he's not really interested in them, it's possible they will be shared with other man later on in the story. There's 1 LI (though more like a crush) and 1 (lesbian/bi) "childhood friend" if those would be fucked by other man, it would be to invoke jealousy and thus ntr. Though i think this will be optional in the future, but i could be wrong, just the feeling i got playing version 4.3 (not the newest). The pic of the girl giving blowjob is no LI btw

Tbh, there's very light amounts of NTR in the game so far. The final update is where all the swinging will take place when the students completely lose control of their libido.
Most likely will be kinetic since I seem to excel at telling linear stories. The reason How To Build A Harem was never completed was because I didn't understand the code. Quest Log tracking... Events that get triggered based on conditions... I had no idea what I was doing and it slowed production to a crawl. I wasn't a comp science major at college and my coding abilities are amateur at best.

Special Advisor Nakano is kind of a background character and I wasn't planning to do anything significant with her. She picks her daughter Yuki up from school in 0.4.5, but that's about it. Do you want me to cut away to the Prime Minister banging her or something?

A pity but understandable. Still you donty have to be quite that ambitious to make a narrative with choices just have to flow chart how the story progresses based on those choices and write variations for each one. You can limit the amount of choice to limit the work but itd be a shame to just do only kinetics.
Also be a shame to not build on this world youve made even if you dont keep using these specific characters.
Wont lie, the kinetic tag nearly turned me off of trying this entirely, not that honey select models helped. But cutting it much more abruptly short than initially intended leaves me feeling like there is a mountain of wasted potential here. The hole 'escaping town' with his harem during the 'horny zombie apocalypse' is pretty much its own "book" or game waiting to be told. Plus you've put a good bit of effort into the lore and setting. Seems a pity to not use it.

I feel the same, but honey select is really holding me back. I need to move onto Daz so I can become a proper game developer. I believe I can offer superior experiences with this software and will be able to sell my game once I finish production. Proper financial support is going to be a priority going forward. I've spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours on RB already and obviously want to be compensated fairly for my talent, of course.

I feel like the biggest thing holding you back isn't Honey Select or having the NTR tag, but the fact that you made a kinetic novel.
There's devs out there who succeed using HS for the art. Pale Carnations has both NTR and uses HS graphics and they have close to a thousand patrons. Eternum has HS graphics (no NTR) and is at over 5k patrons.
Kinetic novels though are basically just stories with some pictures, the lack of meaningful choices means it's not really a "game". There isn't any game play to engage the players, there's no feeling that your choices have impact on the story or characters.
