This is why you shouldn't try to get involved with unnecessary middle-man companies.
You can already directly support the developers by buying the game from dlsite, applying the patch to it.
I will now buy only when a patch is out and not just because one is being worked on or is almost done...

The story goes like this:
Barraged was doing a fan translation, stopped years ago coz he got approached by some "unknown company that wanted to buy his translation".
Never gave news of anything ever again.
Then came Dazedanon who made a chatgpt translation of the game. ( which im sureyall know)
And now otakuplan announced a "official translation", lets see how that goes. ( could be good, could be a pure mtl)

Even if they did, i can assure you that this "official TL" is not coming from the same publisher that the OP (barraged) alluded to 2 years ago.
This one Its a totally unrelated "official tl" done by a diferent company (in this case otakuplan).
And to add to my point:
This is exactly what the OP said.
And none of those point can lead anyone to believe it was otakuplan all along.
