What follows is personal opinion, I admire and thank anyone who goes to all the trouble that making one of these games/Vn's entails and anything you produce is better than what I have ever produced so I salute you, but...
I haven't finished the story yet but since the developer asked for opinions: This story appears to have a lot of work and thought put into it, it is quite different than many of the games we play........but why make the MC a twit? The whole start of the story is a turn off and I really felt that I had to hold my nose to get through it. I am trying to make this comment blunt, not mean, and I personally hate games/VN's where the MC is a jerk. Superhero perfection is not required. Your MC in the story so far seems like a good fellow so why make his eventual character (robe man) so ucky?

I salute you dev you did a great job for your first time, I hope the support will reach the levels of popular anticipated game's devs. Your renders are nice and the humor is also nice and light also the sex scene was hot a and a nice sample to what's to come, only sad thing was the outside drip of sperm wasn't shown but thats not really a big deal though. Also the girls/love interests are hot thats a plus.
If only I weren't preparing on moving to another place then I would support you. Don't worry I plan to in the future.

Wow... this might be the best visual novel I've ever read. Everyone acted like a real person, and I liked every single character that you wanted me to like. And man, when SPOILER started crying, I shed a tear for her too. Thanks for reminding me how a visual novel can really impact you!

Great start, I could only hope to do as good a job if I ever started creating a game. Grammar and spelling issues aside, it is very well written. The plot is interesting and the dialog is natural.
However, I do want to ask you Madmate, what exactly are you trying to accomplish with the narration bits? I did find some of it mildly amusing, but not overly so. We don't really learn anything about the character and it doesn't advance the plot. It's not bad, it just serves no purpose, if this was a movie these scene would be lying on the editing room floor.
I think your renders are pretty good. Scene layout is great and good use of depth of field. You could try running some of the darker scenes through a denoiser though to reduce the fireflies.

He was actually talking about specially trained seagulls that are usually used to pull off heists. It's actually quite uncommon to use real people for criminal activities in this universe. Yeap.

One of the main reasons I kept him around was for some cheap and easy ways to add exposition and humor... well, that and the part he has to play in the story... There is a decent possibility that he might get some changes in the future releases because I too feel like he's the weakest character.
Oh, and without going into details he's not supposed to be MC's eventual character. I probably should've telegraphed that much better.

(not sure if I spelled that right)You are absolutely correct, and sorry for the confusion, my bad. I'll add what to expect in the next few releases to the OP as soon as I finish replying to people. As for the second part of the question, the game is played from the perspective of both MC and his roommate. In hindsight, I might have been a bit overzealous in following the uploading rules so I left out the female protagonist/multiple protagonists tags out because Sarah didn't get a single choice in this chapter, and her story is as linear as other characters atm.
Fun fact, I have been trying to get rid of his manboobs for something like 6 working hours. Ultimately I decided to just make sure to either pose him differently or obfuscate them with his hands, which was a shame because I had several properly menacing poses for him in mind. It seems that in this particular frame his mboobs slipped my notice, and coincidentally this was the image I grabbed for the upload... Rest assured though, I did learn several new ways to deal with the issue since I've rendered those images so (hopefully) there won't be any more clothing malfunctions.
Those are Urban Sprawl 3 combined with CityScapes Backdrops (if you are referring to the first image in OP, I think that one's from Vol.2). And yeah, just as macadam said, by far the best city prop (at least from what I've found so far).
They are called typos and thank you sooo much for pointing them out. The story behind the MC thing (for whom it may concern) is that when I was writing that part of the dialogue, I didn't know yet how to call on the variable where MC's name was stored, so when I finally did find out I went through the script and changed the names. This one apparently slipped past.
EDIT: Also found one instance where he had the wrong relationship, whoops.

- Oh boy! So, as ontach said, it was originally a nom de plume, but for a different character. Originally the gang was supposed to have more members, but with the story becoming more complex every release, the whole thing would quickly get out of hand, and I didn't want to release one update every 6 months, so some characters were axed. The name stayed however because it's my favorite character from Divinity Original Sin 2, and even though the name doesn't fit the character anymore, nor is it an alias, I just had to work it in somehow because I hate what the developer did with the character and I wanted to give her some sort of recognition. Though, now that I've written that, I think I'm starting to see some irony in my actions. Oh well...
- I was hoping some people would be curious enough to google it. Best way to experience it is in person, second best is by watching other people react to it! But you are right, I should probably do that.

Yeah, as far as the robed man goes, I feel like I've addressed his criticism in my reply to Jimbog, but if you think that's insufficient answer, feel free to discuss. I don't yet know how I'm going to tweak him, but he probably will receive some changes.

Good start to your game! The characters are fun, the story is interesting and the renders are all pretty good so there's not a lot to complain about so far. There are a few typos, grammar issues and an instance of the MC being called 'MC' but people have already gone into that so no point beating a dead horse.

Good start, especially for someone's first game. Some parts were a bit off for me (how easily the MC forgets that he's worried about Sarah, why didn't Malady leave a simple note for her, without any details, since she broke into their house and didn't see anyone watching it and stuff like that) and I have to agree with what some other people said about multiple protagonists. I'm not a fan either. If it's just Sarah having to make a choice here and there, it might be ok, but if it's something more, it's a no go for me too. I liked the story so far (the narrator/present time MC is already getting annoying though), the renders are really good and all the girls are cute and seem to have different personalities which is always a plus for me. The same goes for the random NPCs too. There are some cliches (the goon with the weird accent for instance), but I don't really mind. I just hope that Sarah will reunite with the MC in the next update and maybe help Anna and Malady with her hacking skills, and the plot won't be just the two them, looking for each other or her getting abducted by the bad guys and the MC trying to save her. Especially the latter will be very boring and a cliche I would mind... All and all I liked this game, that's why I had a few things to say about it.
