I believe the missing file that's causing the no clicking problem is just the steam_appid.txt.(drop it in the main directory)
downloaded old copy of game. merged with new copy of game. still not working. so before anyone blames my computer i think it's safe to say the last 2 versions of this game for sepparate reasons are disfunctional trash at the moment. Not able to get past junkyard scene now, game crashes before a fight even begins.

I went ahead and fixed the files together, this version should work now 1.7 with the missing files to fix softlock and crashes

Thanks so much... the version in the OP wouldn't even go past the initial load screen for me, let alone the bugs further in everybody else was complaining about.
I'm using this with the cheat console and my game still crashes at the part in the junkyard where the first battle is. It just loads in a small box before crashing.
Sadly still crashes during the load up to the first junkyard battle. Unless I'm doing it wrong, was I supposed to merge your version with the older one? sorry if it was obvious.
If you use cheat file (Assembly), try to revert on standart. It works for me. Don't merge game versions, just use fixed from archive.
Is it possible that there's a limit for nr of downloads or similar? I can start the download but estimated time goes up to like 10 days or something and nothing happens.
I've updated the cheat. Works with the fixed files without the crashing. But mine doesn't have gallery unlocker.
F1 = Add 100k money
F2 = Advance the time (Cant be use with freeze time)
F3 = Reverse the time (Cant be use with freeze time)
F4 = Enable/Disable Freeze time
F5 = Enable/Disable Infinite stability
- Removed the debug menu (I cant get around with coding)
- Removed the stats increase cheat (It just increases the base for updating when changing parts. The increase cant be used for anything else etc. work, event. Its better to buy the chips from store.)
- The freeze time cheat is a little buggy.
- When you're freezing time, any events that completes the day or resting will eventually advances the day but sets the time to the initially froze time (If you freeze the time at Night and the day ends, you will wake up the next day at Night). If you dont want to advance the day, unfreeze and reverse the time while in cutscenes (Resting will always advance the day)
- If you return to main menu and load a save with freeze time enabled, it will change the time to when you enabled the cheat.
- Freezing time will make some events and cutscenes lock you without crashing (BEWARE)
- The infinite stability cheat from before will lock the visual update during parts changing and researching. I've cleaned up the code and it works flawlessly.

i downloaded from op post and i'm stuck on second day 06/02 anyone know what im supposed to do? i cant rest or anything it says i need to do a job but how can i get to a mission screen ?
