A... laptop, I guess?
I was kinda hoping for more detailed specifications, like a CPU model name and an amount of RAM to try to figure out what approximately this game's minimum system requirements are. ...since apparently that's a thing for porn games these days, while I think back to the days of using an off-the-shelf Sony VAIO desktop from 2001 and the adult section in Newgrounds between 2005 and 2008 and how easy those Flash games were to run.

Nowadays, a steam deck. Before, shitty 2010 work pc that could barely handle the game anymore
At least this gives me something to work with. Thanks.

It's a Lenovo ThinkPad that can run Skyrim and Fallout 4 with low specs. I've no idea about that rocket science you were asking, but hopefully it gives you an idea of what this shiny square thing does.

really not a lot oni has achieved in 8 years, considering mity started later and finished earlier with his four elements trainer, which imo is just as art-intensive as rogue-like, if not more.
Don't know shit about code tho
They are vastly different games fundamentally, it really is not even a fair comparison. They are both trainers true, but Mity made a story focused trainer that has plot beats you have to progress to get anywhere. Rogue like is an entirely different type of game, it with a few exceptions like meeting the characters and Emma's second stage is open ended, and in my personal opinion is far more replayable. You can romance fully any female character in Roguelike while in four elements trainer you are limited to the focal character of the chapter for the most part with some scenes with other characters. You cannot for instance Dump toph for Jodee, or pursue Ty lee with a full romance over Mai or Azula. Sex scenes in rogue like are also far more open ended and are triggered by the player or randomly by some of the npc's based on their current stats.

Totally, but there are other games that are like Rogue-Like in the open-ended content sense like The Fixer, Karryn's Prison, Saria Reclaimed or even Teaching a Feeling which receive an update every two years. All these games made way more content in less time and some of them in higher quality.

Now, you could argue that Oni wants to take their time, which I agree, but saying that he is working in a good pace and is a good example or even mediocre development schedule would be an understatement :Kappa:

Personally I think rogue like has a unique feeling and is superior to many other indi smut games out there. There's no obvious author insert character that dumps amateur philosophy down your eyes or any other annoying tropes like that. I even like Jean. Feel free to complain but for free, I don't see the point, certainly not when I'm satisfied.
