So, why are all the one star non-reviews still there?
i am on F95 long time before Room for rent and also deleted i write ticket i am with big angger now fo admins

Pour faire suite à la polémique sur les évaluations, peut être bien faussées, de ce jeux ...
Pour ma part je l'aime bien .. Peut être pas 5 étoiles mais dans les 3 ou 4....
Je ne les attribuerai pas parce que je suis trop paresseux pour lire et me conformer au règles. (J'ai essayé une foi, pour un autre jeux et me suis fais jeter). Mais l’intention y est quand même.
La plupart du temps, je n'ai pas la patience de jouer une heure ou deux pour faire avancer les choses. Mais quand j'en ai le courage, oui, j'aime le soin des détails, l'intelligence des personnages. Disons que, selon mes normes, ce serait un jeux érotique plutôt que porno. Même si, je suppose, on arrive à du porno bien hard à la fin.
Donc, oui, il y a des gens qui aime ce jeu et qui ne connaisse pas les dev (oui, j'écris en français, suspect, hein ?! ).. et qui ont tendance à être rebutés par des polémiques somme toute assez stériles.
Fondamentalement, je pense qu'il faut essayer les choses pour savoir si elles nous conviennent plutôt que de se fier à l'avis des autres.
Une évaluation donne une indication, surtout si elle bien argumentée ( ce que je ne fais pas du tout ici, j'en conviens tout à fait), mais elle ne donne pas une certitude. Vivre sa vie et ses préférences par procuration, conduit en général au pire ...
Bref, j'aime bien le jeu, même s'il m'ennuie quand je ne suis pas d'humeur
Et je me méfie beaucoup des gens paranos qui pensent immédiatement au pire.

For my part, I like it... Maybe not 5 stars but in the 3 or 4.....
I will not attribute them because I am too lazy to read and comply with the rules. (I tried it once for another game and got dumped). But the intention is still there.
Most of the time, I don't have the patience to play an hour or two to make things happen. But when I have the courage, yes, I like the attention to detail, the intelligence of the characters. Let's just say, by my standards, it would be an erotic game rather than a porn game. Even if, I guess, we get to some pretty hard porn at the end.
So, yes, there are people who like this game and who don't know the dev (yes, I write in French, suspicious, huh?!)... and who tend to be discouraged by controversies that are quite sterile.
Basically, I think you have to try things to see if they work for you rather than relying on the opinions of others.
An evaluation gives an indication, especially if it is well argued (which I do not do at all here, I fully agree), but it does not give certainty. Living life and preferences by proxy, usually leads to the worst...
Anyway, I like the game, even if it bothers me when I'm not in the mood
And I'm very suspicious of paranoid people who immediately think the worst.

there may not been all fakes, but the dev abused of the system by making people come here to review the game 5 stars, that make the moderators delete all reviews to punish that type of "cheating boost rating".
Have that in mind that abusing the system is not tolerated in this website and perse all the reviews deleted except the ones made by more trusted members.
if u see any 1 star reviews made by new members with 0 post and that only have targeted this game, feel free to report them to a moderator and they will investigate if they need to be deleted, as simply as that.

Well well.
It seems my all time favorite game is getting some negative attention.
Thankfully my honest review is still there.
I'm not exactly a noob playing these games, I even remember grinding in BB before Eric was introduced, and this game just ticks all my boxes.
Is it because I'm an old pervert like the MC? Maybe .
What makes this game great is the Dev. Updates are regular, he never missed a month so far. Help to his (Patron) players is of a level never experienced before. It's a damn funny game as well.
It can be a bit grindy but I've had worse, like starting a new game every damn time in SS.
So please give this game a try to see if you like it and do not let all these negative comments fool you.
Just have a look and have fun.

It's hilarious that you mention SS as it's my all time favorite and while I must admit that it can be pretty grindy, I don't much mind it there but it just infuriates me in this. Oh well, to each their own I guess.

To each his own exactly. I like SS but that starting over and over again made me lose interest. At least here in RFR I can jump in the continuation of the actual game with each update
are there any known problems with saves from 4.0? when i load my old saves i cant trigger new events.
I, for one realy like this game. The slow build up is great in the long run. of course it will be tame in the first updates, but now it is getting momentum. Why make a game where you just click through in 30 minutes?
Realy hope the creator dont speed things up, just to please people here, and get better ratings.

lol worse than this? there is no game worse than this game when it comes to grind, considering all games allow cheating, but this game dont.
As you say to each their own, and i agree with that, though this game is "you grind" or gameover (since cheating is game over).
Also a lot of gameovers for stupid retarded things like spying on her etc
a game should be about rewarding the player never about penalizing them and this game makes repetitive gameplay with no reward .
I never writed a review of this game because my hate for that grindfest, that system in penalizing the player and the whole "you cant cheat in this game" will make me rate this game 1 stars

Just reading the reviews I get three main points of (OUTSIZED) animosity toward this game. One is the grind which is legit. But the second and third reasons are bullshit.
1. Some people are hating on the MC being an older man, seriously? People bitch about the MC being too young in other games and now too old here. So the only MC who should show up in games and have stories to be told are 20 year old MCs and their 25 year old mothers? This may come as a shock but older (and younger) people have sexual urges and stories to be told. To write a rating based on the MC is bullshit. It's not like it was hidden or sprung on you. Why the fuck did you play the game? It's obvious in the images. Now you write a shitty review? Why you would play this game is beyond me unless you have an agenda.
2. The third reason is the Big Boob Brigade and Petite Police are back in action on yet another game. Again writing a rating based on that aspect. Look its not your thing its not a lot of peoples thing but to write a negative review because its not your thing. What the fuck? Would it be acceptable for the anti-NTR folks to write shitty reviews just b/c a game has NTR? Should people go to any lesbian game and write a shitty review just b/c it might not be their fetish? Maybe people should write bad reviews on Big Boobie Brigade games? If its not your thing just STF up and move on!
The fake positive reviews should NEVER have happened BUT the negative reviews based on MC and stature of LI should also not be allowed. A fetish not being your thing should never result in a bad review. A bad review should be based on art, stability of the game, writing, game play etc. It is legit to slam grind but the rest is BS.

I just played this for the first time, all the drama aside, game's pretty good. Slow burn makes you want the payoff more. Saying that, I'm stuck on 5.0 at 55/100 and can't seem to find a way forward for the life of me. Anyone got any tips?

So you basically told your patrons to come here to rate your game highly? Just curious because if the used accounts were all pretty new it seems that way. Whats also funny is that it seems that you have several fans in china who write like you and even send members of this forum patron only links.

However there is no punishing of players. It clearly says: Don't be a pervert. So that is the way to progress. Try and knock before entering.
Keep the girls happy and progress follows. It's seduction, not corruption!
Reading dialogues and picking up hints is part of the gameplay, this is not a linear VN.
