Well, using AI potentially free devs from paying comissions altogether.Thanks for keep posting comparisons but I gotta say the original art in this example is more than fine. You posted far more bad original art before already and this aint it in my opinion.
I would also agree though that the AI did a good enough job to replicate the original image. One of the rare occasions though since none of the pics have been proof edited.
But the question still stands why using AI in this particular scene when the original still holds up?
I guess like over on Taffy Tales thread we wont get a statement from the dev. At least Uber did a bare minimum of proof editing.
And I strongly suggest to all of us to boycott any dev that would try to replace living artists with AI like that. Cutting corners when you are already being paid isn't right.
Not because "AI is evil!" or its often poor quality, but to support people who draw porn. Keep in mind that even legends like Incase or Sabu had humble beginnings, so even if artist draws lower quality porn, his work could evolve with time. And if we will replace all those lower quality pictures with AI, those artists would lose their income and would never improve. Meaning we won't be having new Incase and Sabu.
Its not a simple convience and practicality question. And I know it sounds rich stating this on a porn site, but we are dealing with question of morality. With whether or not we should support other pervs who make art for our wanking, like fellow human beings we all are.
I guess this was my "five minutes of random manifesto time", lol.
P.S. In highlighted case I just don't like that Clawyn art. May be biased, yes.
