lol "fixes" he just breaks more thingsIs 6.1 the final final version, or is the dev still working on bug fixes?
Good point, I hadn't even noticed that. That does indeed make finding the Mayla route pretty obvious. The Outlander/Emek's Rest route is a right bitch to pin down the start of, on the other hand. Of course, it doesn't help that I'm the epitome of a smoothbrain and there's a very real chance I'm missing something obvious.Well, Mayla route seems to be obvious (although I haven't tried it yet) - imprison her. A new scene they teased with her have her jailcell as background, with bookshelf she would ask you to install. So its most certainly triggers sometime after you put her there.
Well, I haven't play Emek's Rest so I can't make a specific advice here. Well, except being a nice little roomba and clean out every nook and cranny, but that's like a go-to every time you feel stuck.Good point, I hadn't even noticed that. You have to admit there are like a few people who do not care for the game and just came to shit post about AI "art" what you and most people have said fair but there are a few people. What are you talking about? Negligable change? Extra toes, floating nipple, miscolored hand, braindead expression? They are glaring mistakes, not negligable changes!
As for whole AI debacle - nice strawman there. Like, literally ignoring every point people against AI have made. From objective mistakes pointed out in almost every AI-redrawn to the fact that people have gripes not just with AI itself, but with the fact that devs were paid, so why cut corners? Its a greedy move that makes little sense, given how they replaced existing art at random. I could've get behind their decision if their needed a ton of new art ASAP, but they used it differently. Basically putting extra effort with AI to smother efforts artists put into their art, almost all of which was better than the replacement. Basically, putting efforts into downgrading their game.
And you can check my messages here to find out I am not against AI itself and I don't find every AI image in this game bad (I like ones in Meredith sleep molestation and elven priestess scenes, honestly). And that I elaborate on my findings as to what exactly in my opinion is wrong with each AI picture I assess. I also regularly post about bugs I've found.
And I am not alone. Its not some faceless crowd of luddic AI-haters, here are a lot of people with concrete and argument-based remarks in regard to certain AI pictures as well as dev team attitude and game quality.
I, of course, can't forbid you from building strawmen, but they won't replace the arguments. And, frankly, they make your post look ridiculous. Like, after dozens of argumented takes here calling people who made them simple haters is just plain wrong.
P.S. Though I agree about the most Clawyn scenes. Its weird though. Her scene in the forest and soul eater scene are one of the best in game, yet most others are subpar. Curious discrepancy.
Amen to that. I'm definitely in full-on roomba mode right now - I've made several anchor saves that I'm testing from, because I'm not sure when the on-ramp for the route is. My first assumption is that it's right at the start of Act 3, except that you probably don't go to Cinkahn. Poking around at the end of Act 2, and the end of Act 3, which I think I've pretty firmly ruled out.Well, I haven't play Emek's Rest so I can't make a specific advice here. Of course there are. But there isn't how he worded is, isn't it?You have to admit there are like a few people who do not care for the game and just came to shit post about AI "art" what you and most people have said fair but there are a few people.
fuck you are right and I misremembered.... i cant get it yet I'm still in act 1 trying to see if wizard origins actually influenced anything.Buy with valor gems from summeredge rep shop in the conference room (whitemoon castle, same floor as your bedroom). Valor gems can be obtained by successful defence (go outside, do quests, come back to whitemoon and there will be a report whether you defended successfully or not, if yes you get valor gems), also from miniquests in the conference room in act 2, and 50 valor gems from one of the abyss bosses.
Somehow was deleted in new version. we must wait for fixes about that.new version where to enter the code
Thanks for keep posting comparisons but I gotta say the original art in this example is more than fine. You posted far more bad original art before already and this aint it in my opinion. And the original was probably one of the weakest in the game.
Thank you, turning off/on builder setting worked for me.I think was called builder i tuned it on/off also I selected build stable and build inn, dunno if building something made him appear or if just playing of his variable is enough
Well, using AI potentially free devs from paying comissions altogether. Thanks for keep posting comparisons but I gotta say the original art in this example is more than fine. You posted far more bad original art before already and this aint it in my opinion.
I would also agree though that the AI did a good enough job to replicate the original image. One of the rare occasions though since none of the pics have been proof edited.
But the question still stands why using AI in this particular scene when the original still holds up?
I guess like over on Taffy Tales thread we wont get a statement from the dev. At least Uber did a bare minimum of proof editing.![]()
