Thats why not "we". It is only "you"you mean a second opinion that doesn't matter bc it lacks of rationality despite being warned about it?

Every time I see a comment of you it's you arguing with someone else and trying to devalue their opinion because it's different from your own.and why should we care about your opinion?
Just because Melody was the first character introduced doesn't mean she's the main love interest. There is no "main love interest." It's a harem.Kinetic novel....
+ Girl on the pic is Main LI i think. Game is not for me
Really? I'm making a free game in my spare time. If it's not for you, that's fine but it's pretty messed up to call someone else's hard work trash.Good to be aware of that, the game goes straight to the trash pile.
I appreciate you my friend. It's whatever though. At the end of the day, I've received loads of positive comments and criticisms that are actually constructive. Just need to keep moving forwardwhile i agree with you, and i even defended you(before the mods decided that my harsh reaction to those comments, wasn't respecting the rules/it's toxic/whatever, and deleted my comments)
in this website, Main Love Interest = First romance-able girl we meet

On the second issue: i explained to those guys that if they don't like a game, instead of saying nasty childish things, they could simply, don't comment at all and move on...but they didn't...
Actually i'm surprised the mods didn't remove their comments, but i'm guessing a mod hates me for being harsh over people who don't really give constructive feedbacks.
Also they were warned about the content of your game by the premise of the game itself: "Sanctum Amor is a harem style nsfw visual novel about overcoming emotional trauma through the power of love"
I guess their idea of emotional trauma is losing a candy or forgetting their glasses' cloth at home..
go figure how such petty guy think...saying that a thing is trash just because they don't like it....by following this logic i should say that they're trash too just because i don't like them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Honestly, i didn't know that this one is a kinetic novel (tag missing). Opacity slider is necessary for all games which do not have a transparent dialogue box i think. I requested about them before playing the game. My mistake!!!Allan Trumbull So you demand I do all this stuff with my game (compression and opacity sliders) and then facepalm my motivation to keep moving forward despite your negativity. That tells me all I need to know about you as a person.
Don't worry, make the game you want(or that make you proud) in case you need some inspiration or see good works of other devs, my signature has a list of recommended games/VN ^^I appreciate you my friend. First, I have nothing to do with the tags as I am not the one who posted this here. Half the tags are wrong.Honestly, i didn't know that this one is a kinetic novel (tag missing). Now I don't Even care it has opacity slider or not. Because kinetic novel is not for me. Game needs choices.
I like harem games. But because of that "emotional trauma" thing even harem fans gonna hesitant towards this one.
Compressed Android port i played (working without problems) just 77 mb. I don't even care now. This game is like a self destruction bomb.
For sure. I have already ran all the scenes through grammarly and in the near future, an English major friend of mine will be proofreading all dialogue in the game so hopefully that will help with that.Don't worry, make the game you want(or that make you proud) in case you need some inspiration or see good works of other devs, my signature has a list of recommended games/VN ^^
I think removing the sandbox part of the game is a great idea, because usually people hate sandbox-games, and on the other you'll have more time to focus on the story and characters development
3 big(and very common) advices are:
- Don't have too many characters(unless you've the ability to give the same and fair amount of time for each of them)
- Don't prolong the story too much(good stories needs good pacing, and they're long just as much as they need to be)
- Show, Don't Tell.
for the grammar, languagetools, i recommend Grammarly and Google Docs(that has automatic grammar-check, but keep in mind that it checks errors slang and dialects)
that's good ^^For sure. I have already ran all the scenes through grammarly and in the near future, an English major friend of mine will be proofreading all dialogue in the game so hopefully that will help with that.
There will end up being fewer main characters than originally planned with the sand box mode. My current plan to help with the pacing is to go day by day splitting each day into 4 time blocks allowing me to throw a menu in with clickable links showing what each character is up to during that time block and allowing me to show multiple scenes happening at the same time (for example, if a scene is happening between Melody an Anita at the same time a scene is happening between the MC and Emily).
