man the game is great, i see something of the game lisa here and there
maybe the game is too hot for patreon? too much beasty maybe and violence and he wanted to give it a new face to the game?
anyway the 15.2v looks great, great monsters great fighting great scenes it's like a post apocalyptic karryn prison

Well sometime soon Any porn game might be too hot for patreon. Saw smthn abt them possibly removing All adult content in the next year or two.As for beast, there's hardly any in any version of this game. Was all future content as far as i could tell. Bonepicker's took like 8 updates to have One thing, which was also broken & wouldn't show when it was introduced. Plus, I kinda doubt any of the other monsters in this game count for it. Maybe the purple wolf thing. But One & a half scenes are Nothin compared to what some other games get away with while still being on patreon.

If the dev wants people to support his vision and continue to support his game development endeavors, then he needs to have a solid vision worth supporting in the first place.

The moment he started taking peoples money for this project, promising a particular product for that financial backing, he opened himself to any and all criticism. If he was developing for a larger video game publisher and was accepting financial backing off the back of an RPG, and suddenly he showed the game as a visual novel instead, that would constitute false advertisement.

Stop meat-riding someone whose scamming their audience for more money for less content. A massive trove of content from previous versions is simply gone now, and it's been replaced with a bare-bones multiple choice visual novel that's a dime a dozen on this site. As far as I'm concerned, pulling a bait-and-switch on his paying patrons by completely changing what this game is is just an outright scam.

its genuinely sad for everyone (including dev) at this point

I feel like the patreon funding is a cancer for creators of indie games at least for most of them
sounds good to financially support a promising project to allow the dev to work on it and be payed to do so but it seems thats really bad for the final product if it is even released someday

maybe crownfunding would be better or, (i know), finish the game before releasing it even if it's not perfect, not everything fleshed out

the financial aspect of the games is the only aspect i see to explain why japanese games can be released while western ones are just... disapointments or endless vns

That's what happened to Overkills The Walking Dead game they showed one game it was super hype and everyone loved it then they were making practically an entirely different game and the publisher pulled the plug and shut them down and people were pissed

In my most neutral stance out of all of this, as long he's updating, I'm happy enough, obviously there are still problems to deal with, which I hope he can fix and balance, but at the same time, shitty as it may seem, criticism is criticism, everyone here just wants the game to be good, how it good it is, it depends on the person


This is uncharted territory, at least in terms of gameplay in hentai, so I do understand why some would just prefer the older version, but I am hopeful dev would be able to balance it all out, because if this succeeds, that just means another genre for other devs to base their games on, more variety, more fun I suppose

The 0.16 is horrible, at least at the moment, I hope that it is placeholder/temporary as the gameplay feels like shit, not to mention missing content from 0.15.

Also, I'm either retarded or the tickler is nearly impossible to beat.

However, I see a lot of potential in this game, the art-style is amazing, if done correctly it could be on par with Karryns prison.

Looks like the Dev was bullied off this thread. Well there would be a reason for that since he can't partake any criticism, even if it would be constructive and in the prosess of receiving said criticism - call the criticisers braindead retards and whatnot.

Where you at Vel?

I enjoyed the earlier version of the game, but if he keeps developing Saria Reclaimed as a linear VN with no open world mechanics, poor corruption system and just a jarring text bar and battles with different images to advance, it's time to jump the ship.

Considering some of the images are directly from 15.2; looks like some are making it back over and some are being re-drawn (which is not too bad, considering Vel has been improving art wise.)
Also, not directed at you, but I wouldn't call Vel a scammer when he's open about not caring over how many people support his vision and simply does whatever the fuck he wants. Hell he still sticks to a release schedule, that outside of these revisions, been pretty decent speed-wise and appearantly we should be back to monthly releases.

well i see what people saying now it's feel like you get downgrade gameplay (like on 3 steps away), you should just stick with second version of gameplay, but not so greedy on sex scenes. Now its feel like get scammed and arts now covered on half, with not good, i hope author understand it.
