You know, it actually wasn't as bad as it seemed to be made out here. It seemed pretty clear for a while the game was not well done in terms of balancing/systems and frankly felt sorta lost and clunky in what it was trying to do, so I can understand trying a new approach. That said, I think the issue is less the game as it's been remade and more that they remade it and completely changed everything after like 3 years of development, seemingly without any care as to how it would be received. Personally I was kinda looking forward to discount Karryn's Prison in the desert but oh well.
Honestly yeah, if it came out like this, as a VN with really good art, I'd be completely down. But damn near everything about the game was abandoned and made into this mess. It's just really confusing for me as to how tf this even happened. Worst part is it's back to a buggy mess like it was so long ago haia
Nice update, i like the part where i cant beat Oskar the Drunk no matter what option i take cause his damage suddenly skyrockets before i can even heal myself
i could spam dodge over and over, only to lose 80% of my health in a single unfortunate hit, then get hit with another attack that starts in the 1st turn that i cant heal, nor dodge against to, since dodge only works on single goddamn turn.
Idk i just beat him without trouble, he has a strong attack when he hits 3 times that should be dodged, all the other fight is trivial

If the damage that he deals (hover over his token) is one you're weak to (shown below Saria's protrait), put two dodge in if he's last. If at front, do two heals and recover all your hp you lost (well most of it at least). if at middle, dodge and heal. You should be fine with this, but it can take a few attempts. Also, make sure you do the damage he's weak to (below his portrait). If all else fails, there's a passive that makes you constantly naked that you can get if you let the first guys grope you a bit (don't lose though, need to win after that) that gives you +2 posture that can help (+ he's more likely to do lewd attacks that way which is free heal/damage)

I mean to be fair some of the complainers also paid for it through patreon so....
Edit: Also just because it's offered as free doesn't mean you can't criticize/complain about it, especially since it's such a drastic change. It's like being offered a free breakfast meal but it turns out it's literally just an uncooked vegetable. Of course people are gonna be mad, especially ones that are fans/supporters of the project.
