While I was very candid about the purpose for me choosing to post here, meaning the exposure, it is absolutely wrong to think it's always a win-win situation.
On the contrary - sometimes, like in this case, it's a lose-lose one.
My loss:
Because of not waiting the couple of weeks I intended, and giving the links to my paying customers first, I lost money - since many, who would rather pay the 3$ or 5$ than wait, have no incentive to pay, other than to show their support and get some bonus material.
There are, of course, people who support Saving Paula, some of them even up to 24$ and 48$, regardless of delivery time, and they're the ones who keep this project alive for everyone else. They're the true heroes.
But they are very few.
So I am always counting on the upload "ceremony" here, in which I provide some extra material, edit the OP page and so on, to reach more people here, on F95, and on other platforms. Other platforms, by the way, who simply copy my game from here, so now it's "burnt" on multiple sites.
So my loss is quite obvious, and quite substantial.

Well, first of all, my trust and my willingness to give a fuck about any suggestion here and taking into account the poll results on this site. Or putting any polls here at all.
So all those "Oh, no NTR!" and "Oh, NTR please!" and any other fetish requests from this community - and there is a community here - will be completely ignored by me.
There are a few people who support me on Patreon and SubscribeStar, and they will be the only ones I listen to from now on.
But that's not really much of a loss for most here, is it?
Well, here's something more: since the "hero" here clearly became a 5$ patron just to download the new version and beat the Dev to the punch, there will be longer - much longer - waiting periods between the higher tiers and the lower ones when I publish the next update.
And the next update is just a month or two away - for the higher tiers.
If the said hero - or any other honorless "hero," for that matter - wants to pay me 48$, 24$ or such, just to give it to people who will get it anyway the moment he puts it here - well then, all the power to him!
And I thank him for his support!
And if this continues in the next update or two, the community will get more and more sanctions by me - and you have no idea how much I can give to paying members and not others just for spite.
Seriously - you don't want to anger the timid, and you don't want to turn your friends into your enemies. Because we're the worst kind.
I apologies for all the good people here, who did nothing wrong but to share in a conversation and voice their opinions about "Saving Paula" - good and bad - but I really have no choice.
If I do not act this way, I will have to seriously reconsider my "I will never abandon my game" policy.
And that is the last thing I want to do, because I like Saving Paula.
Dev's getting triggered and wanting to "fight" the people on the thread is one of the best reasons to keep this thread on follow.

You really got this backwards.
If it was a big earner, I would have no problem.
If, instead of making 5,000$ a month, you make 4,000$ a month sometimes, you are upset but probably can bite the bullet and go on - just like a company that had some losses due to maintenance or something: the money is still there to make the company viable, even if it's less.
But if you make 300$ instead of 400$, then that means you actually are taking money (yet more money) from your family and putting it in the business.
And that is not a good policy for the long run.
I am not upset because now I can't afford the new car I was about to buy with this money, but about the fact that now I have to pay the electricity bill of my game studio from my own pocket instead of the game.
That's why Robin Hood, the most honorable pirate there ever was, stole from the rich, not from the small businessman.

In mine it's the first thing you do.
Your low tiers are populated by those from f95 you reached by posting your game here, who pledge to you on Patreon, not to get the game because they'll get it here anyway, but to show some support for your work. I think that will probably diminish if you impose a longer waiting period on the low tiers, especially as the progress on SP is very slow, and the main aim of f95 is to provide a quick 'immersed' fap. I mean who gives a fuck what non patrons think?!!! That's how devs get burnt here in the first place. And if you think your high tier patrons are not gonna leak the game, think again. The moment they decide they paid too much for a similarly very short and meaningless episode they'll leak it. For all I know the leak might have originated from a high tier patron who decided to make it pass for a low tier leak. It happens with the best supporters all over this forum.
At the moment your ego is hurting and you're lashing out. But better look at this rationally and take the right decisions with a cool head. It's your game, you do what you want with it.
If there are plenty more fish in the sea, there are plenty more fapping games on f95, don't let that stop you, it won't stop us.

When NTR-able scenes come along in the game, you'll know.
The "Slut" and stuff can go for the MC as well, so it changes the character of Paula herself, but not driving her towards a certain scenario - at this stage.
NTR-able actions will have a fair warning.

I will take everything into account - as much as I can.
But besides my ego - which I hope is less fragile than you suggest - it's a basic economic calculation, which I already put above.
And although I don't think there are no good games out there (I play a couple, myself) I do think my game will be missed - most of all by myself.
But if I see that I not only lose money, but also get stubbed here - then what's the point?
Again, not about ego: I really am taking the time and effort to do this game for myself, first of all. And hobbies sometimes cost money.
But I really have other hobbies, in which I don't feel like a sucker.

Even hobbies cost money. Most devs here consider patron income as an increment to their normal income and used to subsidise other activities.
At the level of CG skill you have, doing porn is a downer. Especially when you have to play with penises and vaginas and adjust erections, pussy entry, cumshots...etc. even though they're just pixels. It's really a very low art form.
If you can increase the pacing and update intervals whilst providing more meat on the bone, and from there build a loyal following ( as Icstor did b4 he went AWOL) there might be more rewards than pitfalls and make this economically viable. But 2 years in and still fighting over subs is not very encouraging.

Did you download the WT Mod (Mixdrop) or the RP Patch?
The patch does not have the mod, you have to download both if you want the WT with the Patch.

That's exactly why I keep my day job - which is 3D animation and post-processing for the TV industry.
And while dealing with penises is a downer, dealing with the ladies' boobs and asses are very much of an upper for me

I understand the economic calculation but I don't think there is a solution to this issue. Even if it's not leaked here, it will get leaked elsewhere anyway.. and then get leaked here. Once on the internet...
I think the only hope for devs in this oversaturated market... is to get so much exposure that there they might get enough supporters to make a living. But it's a VERY risky way out, and a lot of devs burned out before making more than 500$ a month, which is pretty sad.

And, by the way, it is quite similar even in the TV and film industry - and in many other arts - though in different scales.
The only difference for me is that this game is my own creation and my own risk; while my day job as a 3D gun for hire (even if it is a limited company) is for other productions, so I get paid anyway.
