Yes, that's why it's 9MB, the "c" version is just bugfixes. The beta has all the content the version will have, there are some missing images that got added and bugfixes, but the "c" version is historically only bugfixes.

Man it's not looking good for this game. The dev was able to get his SS page approved pretty fast but he doesn't even have half of the support he had on patreon. I could see this game getting the on hold or even the abandoned tag pretty soon. I hope that doesn't happen.

from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Version 0.16 Progress Report!
Progress Update on Version 0.16
Hey everyone, it's time for a progress update. In version 0.16, the story will mostly center around Ruri and her relationship troubles with Matt. MC steps in to comfort her, leaving players to choose between exploiting the situation or being a supportive friend.

Storyline Focus: Allison
Approximately 25% of the story will focus on Allison. She's currently taking care of Alternative Daisy and Olivia, with Haruka finding them a house near Allison's. This proximity allows Allison to keep a close watch on them.

Render Progress
As for the number of renders, 25 out of 65 images are ready. While my partner keeps working on them, I am taking care of other renders and the script. We are aiming to finish this version relatively earlier than usual. We'll continue posting progress reports and preview images.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to everyone supporting us on SubscribeStar. Your faith in us, understanding that we won't abandon this game for a new project, is deeply appreciated.

But a lot don't seem to realize that not as many people have ever or will ever use SS to support devs compared to Patreon.
It just doesn't have the same reach.

I mean it's a lot harder when the change happens so suddenly. A lot of people will never use SS, that is true, but if you start slowly, trying to move people from one platform to another, I think a good number of them will do it. For newer devs, my advice would be to not even bother with making a patreon. It may take longer to reach the number of subs you need to work full time on the game but at least you have a lot more creative freedom. The idea of telling someone what type of stories they can create is ridiculous to me.

Subscribestar is secretly subject to the same restrictions as Patreon, they just aren't as open about it. I've seen some pages get "shadowbanned" where the creator and existing subscribers can still see the page, but other people can't see it or subscribe. And they don't tell the devs this happened, they just leave them to wonder why there are no new subscribers, while continuing to take a cut of the subscriptions.

Pixiv, on the other hand, IS open about how they're subjected to the same restrictions, and has been mass closing Fanbox pages for adult devs in addition to removing Pixiv posts without any warning. They've been very up front about the fact that this is because of "overseas credit card companies", meaning that even literally being in a country that doesn't have the same rules isn't enough to avoid what's happening. But I've seen a lot of Japanese content producers put a halt on their content as they try to figure out what to do now that Fanbox doesn't allow it.

And while nobody mentioned it here, itch.io is going through the same shit.

The fact is, this isn't a problem with individual sites. There's an effort by credit cards and payment companies to cut off all money being used to support "undesirable content", ostensibly to fight against child pornography and sex trafficking, but they extend it to any harmless kink that could conceivably be illegal if done in real life. And it doesn't matter if it's legal in your home country or not, because pretty much all legitimate businesses use payment systems that are tied to each other on a global scale. If MasterCard refuses to let Paypal use them without following these rules, Paypal has to refuse to do business with any company that doesn't follow MasterCard's rules, and so on. It's the porn equivalent of enforcing a global ban on sales of movies or video games featuring guns, but if anyone tries to speak up about it they're accused of "defending pedophiles". Ironically, this eventually makes it so that these things can only be supported through dark web sources used by *actual* child molestors and sex traffickers.

Subscribestar still seems like the better option for adult games right now. If they have similar restrictions, at least for now they aren't enforcing them as strongly as patreon.

SS isn't the savior of adult games that people seem to think it is.

For one, it's heavily limited on what people can use to financially back anyone considering a lot of us won't ever switch payment providers.

The main issue is regardless of what anyone seems to think, it's never going to pull the numbers Patreon does. Sure, some devs are doing well, SOME. A lot of those that had a few hundred subscribers on Patreon have 1 or 2 on SS.

Telling devs to drop the place they make money to move to somewhere they won't isn't going to help them at all.
