I mean, the NTR-scenes itself are good. Personally, I would see this game more as a Female Protagonist-game than male protagonist to be honest, since the male protagonist does not really do anything... Unless you want to go the non-sex route.

the stalking on ntr day is definitely one of the important idea shinachiku has when he's thinking about making this game

Personally, I would see this game more as a Female Protagonist-game than male protagonist to be honest, since the male protagonist does not really do anything...

The male POV is sorta the whole point of the NTR genre, seeing the love of your life corrupted.

Also, from a writing perspective it's a lot easier to do it this way, as opposed to make a female protagonist and get the players to care about the boyfriend they're cheating on.

I prefer a female protagonists most of the time, just not really in the NTR genre.

She is not a whore. She just went through the ritual a few years ago, after which she became a relatively experienced woman, unlike her innocent sister.

The dev has been very actively tweeting for some time, dunno if any of it has anything to do with SoS: After.

But I'd expect some update soon-ish, based on how long it's been since the last update.

Basically just a year end greeting for 2022 talking about how it was a terrible & unproductive year, and also about the creator hopes to do more in 2023.

No update on %age progress, no talk of what's to come. At this point, I think the best approach is to not care. If the dev delivers, great. If the dev doesn't deliver, then there's a few decent alternatives that might release this year.
