This sample for Ryoka’s Dakimakura always makes me chuckle because I guess it was the initial design he wanted but it was rejected. I think it’s funny because he probably showed this to his manager or editor and they were like yeah this is too fucked up, you’re gonna have to tone it down for this to pass regulations lol. On the other hand I’m sad that it wasn’t chosen, I’m a big Yasui fan and that would have been an insanely hot dakimakura.
Biased aside I think Yasui might be his favorite character. With him working on Yasui’s route first along with the demo just being Yasui and this rejected design, it’s possible. It would be cool to know which character is his favorite though unless he had already stated it somewhere else.

I'm thinking Oyama is the favorite, then Vagrant. I think he thrives on the old disgusting perv trope. There's two of them in this game alone. And now in After, he's going to add even more of Vagrant route, and also add an additional middle aged perv at the bus stop. Then there's two if his older games - Kotoko Is A Little Different, and Until Her Amorous Body Corrupts, which solely focus on nothing but old geezers going at it with the respective female protag.
his favorite is Oyama but I understand why he wanted Yasui to have more impact in the sequel.

Personally Daisuke is my favourite route as well, followed by Yasui.

I thought the same thing but it probably just means that there are "other scenes" like: Ryoka's inner monolog, Keita's thoughts, Saki's route etc.
Still, wouldn't complain IF we end up getting a Vanilla Route/Scenes.
Keep the expectations low on vanilla route scenes

Never bet on any fleshed out love routes in NTR games, not today not ever, it is a losing gamble. And if any evidence was needed, the above reply by the man himself settles the deal.

vanilla routes are precisely why NTR games are fun
its like a "try not to corrupt" challenge, fighting your own thirst vs satiating the gamer dawg in you
I did think that they're just cucking protag in the sequel from the former pure ending, or to at-least meet with some level expectation of lewd reward. Unless of-course they finally make a third trilogy in the series where you get cucked in the vanilla route
(probably whilst being married to the mc)

Fully agree, which is why I think it is a shame that most NTR games don't better flesh-out and extend those vanilla routes (when they even have them in the first place).
SoS here is a prime example: the gameplay of this "love route" amounts to some lame ass crystal bumping (although I'll say that the memories themselves are decent, and loli Ryouka is hella precious), and a couple of dates that you can do. Then all we get is a 2 minute ending with one non-sex CG of the confession, a few lines of dialogue, THE END.
