I can entirely understand it too but considering how others work like the example FurryVNE that not only has all progress info locked behind subscription and at the moment they dropped the animation update they did it soo by putting anti-piracy on it, i would say this is one of the more legit ones.
I can say from decades of coding experience that everything he's posted appears to be 100% legit.

No. As far as I'm aware (I don't follow him or what he does), Fek has decided to quietly hope everybody forgets he ever did anything like that, and is using his patreon money from people who forgot to unsub to commission more porn of him and his boyfriend/close friends, or to put his OC in $100+ YCH slots.
As far as I'm aware, that's just a photo edit.

This is a wild thing to say in the same exact post that says:

How are so many coomers so uncaring that they just let these scammers siphon them for money as they do anything but work? Like.... you literally have the most complete version of the game. You can find the most complete version of the game on a variety of sites if you somehow lose your own copy. Just unsub from everyone that either hasn't updated in half a year (and even that's being generous) or anyone you don't jack off to anymore.
That's why there are so many low-effort Ren'Py games here.
