Which girl and what paths do you miss?
The branched paths all merge back into a single one when you return to Alison's house to accept her apology. Certain events only happen on particular paths, though.
the entire sarah and dawn paths being locked behind touching sarah's ass when she's sleeping at the beginning of the game
i really liked the idea of interacting with highlighted items or zones and getting extra content but missing an entire path because you missed or didn't want to interact with one that looked extra SUS it's not a good design choice imo

I'll have to go back and double-check the code if that's the case. It's not supposed to lock you out of Sarah if you don't have sex with her that first night. I added another opportunity to sleep with her for the first time when you visit Dawn - it's only if you decline then that her path is supposed to close.

Also, just to note, Dawn's path isn't dependent on Sarah's path. If you don't sleep with Sarah, Dawn will still be available.
I like your games, i like your writing and i like your style but things like this feel a bit condescending when MC is doing the same (similar) things

OK, finished the current build. I will forgive the dev(s) for the worst Heart song at the beginning. Seems like a pretty well written game overall. Did find a couple of minor things, one typo and one audio thing. Here is the typo/grammar thing I noticed...
Should be "your", not "you're".
As for the audio, the rain sounds carried over from the night before right through until the end of the update, when it was a clear day.
Overall though, good job dev(s).

Played the update. I'll share some random thoughts which I'll put under spoilers for length. Most of them are general thoughts, not tied to this update specifically.
I'll just end by saying again how much I'm enjoying this game. I enjoyed Boxed In in a sort of not taking it too seriously kind of way. This game is even better. I really must applaud badbod for his work, his frequent updates, and for doing it all for free.

There is one and both sisters agree with me on that. They hate the song too but were pressured into doing it by their label. I love everything else they have released and many they didn't release. Seen them twice in concert, once in the 90's and once about 10 years ago, they were still kicking ass.

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't the opportunity to look at the script code for the scene but I would imagine it would be related to persistent variables, otherwise even regularly unlocked replays will have variables issue since they run in a new context.
If it is indeed related to persistent variables then my usual fix is to initialize those variables in my mod. Recently I have gotten away from doing that as I try to avoid managing game variables if possible and it also cuts down on having to keep with the changes to them.
Yeah, this part left a real bad taste in my mouth. One of my big pet peeves in AVNs is game crossovers. Unless it's just a brief and inconsequential cameo, they pretty much never end well. At best, it means a handful of characters that are off limits (and a disappointing surprise if you weren't aware of the shared universe; looking at you, My Bully Is My Lover). At worst, it means content somewhere on the spectrum of Technically-Not-NTR to full blown NTR/swinging.
It certainly seems like the Boxed In family are being set up to be love interests; why kill off their MC otherwise? If Sam/Lydia/their daughters end up being LIs, it really cheapens their feelings in Boxed In and ruins that game a little bit for me. And even if this ends up just being a cameo, having the coda to Boxed In being "and then he died, lol", really throws a wet blanket onto my feelings for the game (both games really).

Didn't play, probably won't for a bit with my backlog I am trying to catch up on, but I read this because I don't mind spoilers and I already had an idea what this was about. And I am completely fine with this, anything to see my precious princess Kelly, best girl. So I will definitely be looking foward to this content as well.
Two small comments:
- I did not like in this last update that the story changes if you change the order of the "side missions"
- I do not like that Sarah / Cara are mutually exclusive and you do not really have a decision, it just plays out differently from the beginning. It forces you to keep 2 paths open but again is just one minor decision very early so it does not make much sense

Your choices sometimes have consequences, nothing new here.
Cara?? Do you mean Mary?
The Sarah/Mary mutually exclusive discussion has been covered a few times already in this thread.
They're not mutually exclusive. On the Sarah path, you'll meet Mary later in the game and vice versa on the Mary path.
