So yet another copy of Vampire Survivors? I've had fun with the genre for sure, but I kinda got my fill by this point. Even their Ascot game (development hell much?) I wasn't feeling too hype about. But new game announcement aside, hopefully this means that soon we'll be getting a release date for the DLC; it must be nearing completion for them to have started work on yet another game at the same time.LatestYou must be registered to see the linksis stating they've started work on their next game, and it's a "survivors-like"

Yeah the new title they announced is a collab game with a different studio. Aint much to say about it since it was just announced.
Now that I think about it, the new title will probably get released before ascot. Survivor games aren't really that big, not like trying to make an open world action RPG. Hopefully they can learn a bit about optimization while working with the other studio.

Is Ascot the Open World RPG? I might be interested in that game since despite some of Seed of the Dead's flaws I still enjoyed it enough where Team Krama is one of my favorite 3D Hentai Game studios. (Another one being Torch Studios for Orc Massage) I don't really like the uncanny valley look of a lot of 3D hentai games you'd find on this website as well as Steam. So I'm particularly picky when it comes to what kinds of 3D hentai I play. Having an anime art style for the 3D models helps, but if the 3D isn't based on anime character designs, I prefer Dead or Alive Xtreme style 3D over House Party style 3D. So out of curiosity, are there any 3D hentai games like Seed of the Dead and Orc Massage that are on Steam that you would recommend*?
*In terms of art style and graphics, that is. Gameplay could be anything as long as it has an appealing 3D art style.

3D? Honestly i'm not normally a fan of 3d works either. I don't think the H games studios have the money to be making really good 3d models yet so that's why they all look a little ... off usually.
You can look up "Our Apartment", the female in that one looks really cute.
You can also look up Kinky Fridays, but they for some reason decided to work on like 8 different games so the probability of any of them getting done anytime soon is pretty low. I am looking forward to Sapphire Safari from them but it's furry stuff and I know not everyone is into that.
Operation Lovecraft is more Final Fantasy-esque in design and it looks good, not really my thing with the content being space girls and alien tentacle monsters.
Breeders of the Nephilim has *insane* modeling but the rigging of the H animations is a bit weak in my opinion.
Then ofcourse you got the "Big Three" studios of the the 3d H game industry:
Illusion (probably has released like 30 games by now)
Kiss (Custom Maid series is fire)
Miconisomi (Probably some of the best 3d animations I've ever seen, even compared to non H games)

Yeah, a lot of them look like they were cheaply bought assets from whoever made the original. Because a lot of the 3D stuff you find on here and Steam's recommendations look the same. Hopefully the H-game industry can grow to the point where they can make 3D models just as good if not better than the ones you'd find in Fallout, God of War, Assassin's Creed or what have you.
I've been following it's development on and off again for a long time now. It's one of the many H-game projects I bookmark and/or forget about since the dev time has been so long. Though I heard from that Hentai Expo livestream that it might come out sometime this year. So hopefully the wait will be worth it by then.
I've heard of at least Under Contract from this studio. Looks like they do 2D stuff as well.
Luckily for the Devs of this game I just so happen to like the Cthulhu Mythos, space sci-fi and tentacle monsters. Their description of "roguelike strategy game featuring squad tactics and deck building" got me interested. Mainly the "Squad Tactics" section. Does that mean it's gameplay would be similar to XCOM in that it'll be part of the "Turn-Based Tactics" genre?

In addition to that, pretty ambitious of them to add online co-op to an H-game I would imagine wouldn't have as large of a playerbase as say, the one for Team Fortress 2. But I wish them great success nonetheless. Hopefully they offer some options for offline play instead of falling into the "gaming as a live service" trap. Also, how much content is in the Demo on Steam?
Glad to know that Operation Lovecraft as a VR game at least has an option for "standard mode", because I don't have a VR headset and wouldn't know what to get. There's at least one VR game that interests me (The Tale of Onogoro), so do you by chance happen to have any recommendation for VR headsets? My only requirement is that I want nothing to do with Mark Zuckerberg's Oculus Rift.
Breeders of the Nephelym: Alpha was one of the first porn games I ever got for Steam, I ended up uninstalling it either because it was too wide open sandbox for me to handle or I had a hard time deciding on whether I wanted my player character to be male or female. When I play female main characters I usually make them as promiscuous as possible. Yet at the same time there seems to be so many female NPCs in BotN that playing as a male MC would be great for self-inserting when the male main character is fucking the female NPCs.
I am familiar with Illusion when it comes to their games known as Koikatsu and Honey Select. I am familiar with Custom Maid as a brand (since it's on my wishlist), but I haven't bought it yet. But oh boy it's got a lot of DLC. As a Koikatsu player I gotta ask. What's the difference between Custom Maid and Koikatsu/Honey Select? Do you prefer Custom Maid over Koikatsu and Honey Select? If so, how come? If you say the Custom Maid series is fire, that just makes me want to know more.

Koikatsu is good on its own but it's a pain in the ass to mod properly.
Custom maid is apparently easy to mod so if you're willing/have the know how, you can go download hundreds of gigs worth of mods and pretty much create whatever you want, they also have an official english release but i haven't been keeping up to date on all that

Thanks for the input. I forgot to mention that I'm not familiar with Miconisomi whatsoever. What are their most famous games? Are any of them on Steam? Do they have a story or are they character creation sandboxes like Koikatsu and Custom Maid?

Intereting that lately I've been comparing those two to each other and figured out that COM is slightly too annoying for me, gameplay wise.
When I want to focus on one thing (like grind the maids in certain skill so they can work in a restaurant ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) I'm suddenly forced to watch some live show that I'd rather some other time.
The way yotogi works is just straight weird. Right from the start you select the positions and you can't change that later. You can do them in different order or skip them but you can't replace them or add anything more after choosing them.
On the other hand I opened Koikatsu and noticed it's more interesting and less constraining.
Also while COM seem to have more vanilla content than Koikatsu, for COM it's detrimental since when I want see all the events with a certain maid I'm forced to scroll through a hundred or more other events with all the maids (a filter or a category of events would be nice to see). Even if the amount of content is enticing it becomes overwhelming.
But maybe it's just because I prefer MC in high school than a brothel ¯\_(⌐■_■)_/¯

, but they already confirmed that they will release a deluxe (or legendary in their words) version of the game with all dlc's.

The DLCs were so broken they practically got removed.
You need the older versions of the game with the DLC's files.
Hit the search for DLC in this thread and you will find more about it, but in short you need older versions of the game.
Not sure if what I did is what should everyone do but I found somewhere 1.101R version with the Haloween dlc and 1.201R with the Christmas DLC paks.
(New version save files are compatible with older, older with new ones. Although the new version of the game may require the dlc paks but it may already have them installed.)

I wouldn't count on it
I think it is better to download a save with the costumes and the special intimate events, playing the events is not the best, for example the Halloween map has several bugs and the Christmas map is meh (they only redecorated the map where einomaru talks to us by radio to save some supplies).
