Didn't expect the writing to suck right off the bat like that. 4 months later and she's already looking to the guy that fucked up her husband to keep her company?

Not to mention she gave up on her husband saving her because she didn't want anything to happen to him? I know he got blindsided in the beginning but god damn lady at least give him some credit seeing as he's the "Hero". I mean the game released in 2016, right? How is it you can't even kill the brother yet? Even Guts doesn't get fucked this hard and he was literally raped.
Guts got cucked 30~ years ago and he is not even close to defeat Griffith. Not a good example.

Also, the writing is not bad. Not everything is perfect, but the team gives consistent releases and every character is getting a lot of development. Xzaratl got a whole revamp in her scenes that made her a much more likeable and interesting character in the last release. We saw a lot of discussion about the politics of the world of SoC in this thread and the world has a lot of verisimilitude.

We could have Alexia being less interested in Andras, but is totally plausible that she could develop a crush on him because isolation fucks with mental health (We all know it because COVID) and he was really gentle with her.

And we never see anyone complaining about Rowan having sex with everyone else in the game.

Some people can't handle it. Hell, some people can't handle the merest whiff of it.
I don't get it, honestly. I'm not into, say, heavy ryona or humiliation - but if a game suddenly goes in that direction, it doesn't ruin my day or anything like it seems NTR does to some. I just skip the scenes or close the game, deciding it's not for me. At most, I'm mildly annoyed that they wasted a good plot if I was enjoying it up to that point.

But for some, if a game so much as hints that the main character's mother is interested in dating again, several years after the death of her husband... Somehow that becomes an unforgivable sin, even if the MC was never even interested in her, and it's necessary to loudly announce how much they hate it.

Besides, everyone knows Alexia is the real MC anyway.

I mean.

All that sex is taking time away from medieval politics.

I know one guy that's disappointed.
I mean, come on, Rowan could totally have used that time he spent sleeping with Emma to scout out what other influential orcs might be affected by the leadership crisis in the tribe!

I will admit that the game might give a impression that the NTR is not avoidable based on the first scenes, but I won't rush to rewrite the bloody segment because some people hit alt+F4 at smallest the hint of a NTR plotline. We'll get to it when the time is right.
For me this is really all I need. A 'yeah, we see the issue and we'll get to it.' Personally, I think all it needs is a little clarification that what's going down is something like Stockholm Syndrome and not just Alexia drooling over big demon cock.

Personally, what I'd like (and not what we'll see, because it would take way too long to get to the main game)...

-Rowan's journey to the keep expanded on; a few scenes establishing the challenges he faced on his way. He'd face a few choices along the way, which would affect his initial skills/attributes, how long it takes him to get to the Keep, and possibly increase his initial corruption and/or guilt to a minor extent.

-Alexia having scenes at the keep after each segment, detailing her interactions at the Keep; being minorly disrespected by the orcs, dealing with Andras, Jezera wheedling what information she can out of her while teasing her a bit, and spending her time in the library. While her choices might give the Twins a bit more influence over her, the general idea is just to establish what she's doing while Rowan is making his way there and being tortured.

-Andras made more consistent with their later interactions, where he enjoys being brash, showing off for her, and pushing her to be more open with her desires. Since Alexia ultimately chooses to sleep with him to protect her husband, I don't think this would undermine the intent of the scene; if anything, it might help reinforce the tone, with Alexia being genuinely concerned that Andras might overpower Rowan, after Andras spent his time bragging about his strength.

-With the prologue lengthened, one might as well move the "NTR Off" switch further in, to just after the abduction. Perhaps add a third, "Ask me again after the prologue" option so that people on the fence have more to go on.

But, well, with people already complaining that the prologue is too long, this would probably be a terrible idea in practice. It'd make me quite happy, though!

(Bonus ridiculous idea that would never happen; Alexia becoming friends with Nasim, finding out about Bootleg Alexia after a misunderstanding regarding Nasim's interest in her, and being slightly horrified by how easily pleasant demeanors and crimes against nature can go hand in hand in Bloodmeen.)

EDIT: Oh, though I should add that I don't really have any complaints with the prologue as-written; I'd like to know more about the Twins before deciding why Rowan would want to work with them, and I think Andras's deception seems a bit out of character for such an otherwise straightforward character (particularly as part of his introduction), but I think it's perfectly fine as is. No point in letting the perfect be the enemy of the good, after all.

The prologue is simply dated at this point. But reasonably, you only ever update a scene once (or preferably - not at all), as to not be stuck in perpetual development hell, so I'm not touching it until I know I have all the other mechanics figured out.

I will admit that the game might give a impression that the NTR is not avoidable based on the first scenes, but I won't rush to rewrite the bloody segment because some people hit alt+F4 at smallest the hint of a NTR plotline. We'll get to it when the time is right.
actually i wouldn't want the intro being rewritten. that andras lied with a straight face to alexia is not surprising at all, so i don't think you need to tell how alexia came to believe andras lies and in a sense miss his presence.
what i'm more concerned with is continuity.
for example the scene with the rude workers, where she can whip them to air out her disatisfaction, alexia can mention being angry at rowan for breaking their vows on his first day of servitude (only if you chose it of course). yet with no word do you get reminded that alexia offered her body towards andras (again only if you chose to), like it never really happened.
so it's more like later scenes could use some little adjustments.

the game is great and story-wise way above the usual porn game. i just wish the cheating of both MCs were more consistent to each other

I don't mean to nitpick, since it's just an example, but Alexia is being deliberately unfair in that scene; not only is she whipping a man for things someone else did, she takes the least charitable interpretation of every item she complains about (such as blaming Greyhide despite him being drugged and blaming Rowan for saving Helanya before her). These aren't truly what she believes; she's just giving voice to her frustrations, and taking them out on a target that's guilty enough that she can let go. Like a far less innocent version of yelling into your pillow.

Though as a side note, I'll also note that there's several events that have minor variations relating to Alexia having been unfaithful in the past, as well as how far she's under the sway of Andras or Jezera. They're usually not more than a line or two, but the game does have references to it.

Give the game a chance. If you use the search function here, you will see that the devs have said a few times that at some point the intro will be redone because right now, its very ntr heavy atmosphere, which gives the impression that its a harcore ntr game.

Just get past the intro and the game becomes very good.
Yeah, its feels bad when Alexia wants to see Andras again and how he touches her and kisses her on the forehead... but THATS IT !!! After this, you select the option to turn NTR OFF and Alexia becomes very loyal. There is not flirting, touching, or anything at all.

You will miss some very sweet interactions and some hot sex scenes between Rowan and Alexia later on if you dont play it xd.
The story is also very good. So many random events when you explore too.
Dont worry about the intro, it will be reworked eventually. Just like you, I also delete the game when I saw that intro, but someone here talked me back into and said that its just the intro. So I came back and pushed through the intro.

How does one help Tarish out during the orc tribe factions event?
Locate the noble girl [forgot her name] and visit her until she trusts you and then talk again to Tarish, I believe next you will have to go back to the castle to get both a poison and a lust potion and bring them to her, then you visit the Noble and "help" her escape.

is it possible to mod for this game, which will show when choosing actions, something like +1 Andras or +1 to NTR

Alright so, for all you cheaters out there. As of 0.2.61b I present to you the method to unlocking the gallery. In truth I'd also like to get the "Scene Replay" unlocked too but as of now I've no knowledge on where to begin with that (for the time being I'll take shots in the dark, but if anyone knows where to unlock the Scene Replay that'd be awesome). Happy Fapping
So does this only work for 2.61? Ive tried it on 2.62 and it doies not work.

It's not exactly the same, but you could enable dev console with UnRen. It will show you all the important stats after every choice. If you combine it with backscrolling, you won't need a mod like this anymore. Using UnRen is very simple.

It seems unlikely to me, considering how easy it is to miss her event, but... Well, I'm not one of the writers.

That said, there's a surprisingly large number of minor characters that I'd like to see again. Like, it'd be neat to see Sam (that teenager who peppers Rowan with questions in a town) sign up with Bloodmeen as a mercenary in a year or two - assuming you're not a total monster, of course. And those smugglers dealing in food; pretty much every character in that event was neat in one way or another. Or that random escaped elf who's mine you stole politely asked for; it'd be interesting to bring her back to the forge instead of just giving her a mine.

I'd go on, but, well, I don't want to just end up listing every event with a named character in the game by the end of the post...

Hey, some of those minor characters types even had their own CGs! I'm with you, I'd love to see some more development of them and see what outcomes ultimately befell many of them (or future interactions that they may have with our protagonists) due to the consequences of the MC's actions. There is a wealth of potential, interesting storylines there. ^^
