You know Stockholm Syndrome is made up thing that doesn't really exist, and even presuming for the sake of argument that it does, it requires crucial component that is both the hostage and the terrorist to have common, external threat/enemy to bond over... i.e. something which does not exist here? Have a nice day indeed.
The perceived threat to survival, the belief that the captor is willing to end the life of the hostage, the perception in captivity of some small kindness on the part of the kidnapper within a context of terror, the isolation and the conviction that it is impossible to escape could explain this "syndrome"... Some Psychologist have the theory that this condition may appear in stressful situation when the victim have too much contact with their captors, but at the same time cognitive biases do their work in this traumatic situations allowing understanding and empathic with the captors... This kind of condition may appear in sexual abuse, sect members, couple violence, war prisoners and so on...

If you want to justify things in common Alexia could have with their captors... Can be name for start since the Nobility until Rowan... The first because they not only give the back to her husband in most situations but they are more occupied with politics than in the safety of the realm, moreover, any attack to Bloodmeen would mean a treat for Alexia too, it is implied by Rowan himself that he even committed acts during war that would be criminal... Besides, Andras can show her how in Bloodmeen there's not only demons but an abundance of other many species, including humans who long to live a better live, Bloodmeen gather people who want better conditions instead of a static society where most of the ppl just born and die poor for the sake of a minorities who maintain control by force.

The second, is something the game is yelling to us whatever option we take, Alexia want a child and Rowan isn't the most willing husband in history to get the shit done
It might. The thing is, the twins don't know that and it's not really worth it to check that. It's a game of chicken and the twins would rather swerve than risk it for what's ultimately just one pussy out of millions, attached to not even all that attractive woman in late 30s. You don't even need to be all that rational to make the correct choice in such situation.
They couldn't and they will not be... That option was left behind since the beginning, specially for Rowan, his only one true good option was to not work for them, whatever happened to Alexia is just a blackmail to do a greater evil with his help and self damnation, his self subjugation for the sake of the story of 3 Acts (that only the first is in a practical sense done) is in essence the beginning of the corruption of the Hero, who in his selfish thought to save someone precious to him, he will condemn himself and the world in the process. The twins wants Rowan because they acknowledge his success during the War against their Father, making him a valuable asset for their plans, but they aren't too dumb nor less too desperate to push Rowan in comply their objectives if Rowan fail them, he'll be death (yes you can have a perfect game over if you don't reach main goals).

No value judgements being made one way or another, but this game objectively has rape scenes. Lots of them. The fact that it doesn't have a rape tag is an oversight. The idea that anyone is consenting to sex with that wump wump tenticle thing is absurd. There is also no mind control tag, which is what what what?

yes the game has definitely rape and it's laughable to state otherwise.
but the devs won't acknowledge it, nor change anything about it, because of patreon reasons.
mind you, i'm all for no actual rape in porn, since my biggest kink is consent, as absurd that may sound. but trying to adhere to patreon and trying to create a grim world like SoC wants to be, makes some rather funny situations, as the people in the face of terror are supposed to enjoy being forcefully taken. this makes the atmosphere from time to time unbelievable, to the point being comical and therefore destroying the immersion. there are lots of examples, though the probably biggest offender in that regard is Andras, as his character becomes in his motives and appearance self-conflicting.

so while i completely understand and personally endorse the no-rape-policy, it does hurt the game. and that gravely i might add, as one of THE two big antagonists, Andras is practically centered arround it.

Updating MonkOne's original gallery mod for the newer versions since 0.3.05.

Install: Unzip all of the files into the game's "game" folder, then launch and go to "Bonus" -> "Scene Replay".

If you find any bugs, please let me know.

How do I trigger Alexia x Tarek barmaid event? In debug it says I am missing "midCoreFlee=False" but I have no idea what does that mean.

The story is moderately confusing, if a soldier came from peasant beginnings one of two things happens, either he never gains an officer's rank, OR if the King sees greatness in that peasant he promotes him accordingly/.
MAKING the Peasant a General IMMEDIATELY lifts him to Noble status, and being the main reason the war was WON 7 years ago, this man should have been worldwide known as a hero.
He has to struggle to even get support, to even get respect from OTHER Generals he has served WITH before??
Yeah that doesn't sit well with me in any way at all, since the story characters and land seem to be based on Earth's history and culture, meaning it has a base in reality, no matter how fantasy and fiction it is.
OH and I KNOW there are gay scenes in this project, how do I go about auto-ignoring them, or denying them altogether, are they included in the NTR that we can skip through at the beginning of the playthrough?

The name implies that during medium corruption signpost you fled from the tree. I am flabbergasted the game actually checks that.

Solansian society is not medieval England, even if it uses its aesthetics.

I always considered the difference in classes closer to the Indian caste system in SoC.

Alright, that has been settled even though I cannot STAND that side of the world's "culture" or how they treat the women in those countries worse than a homeless mutt.
How about my other pressing question about skipping gay material, Oh and a side note isn't over 6 months of zero contact a little too unbelievable, granted, the MC wasn't "Gifted" a horse, and has absolutely zero fcking support from...you know what I will look forward to putting these "rulers" heads on fcking spikes for all the GOOD people to see.

Edit: LMFAO!! in the FOLLOWING scene I had my first question in this reply answered, I can CHOOSE one of three paths (MANY MANY branches in this story, make for MANY more playthroughs, but all based on the same fundamental narrative).

Well... In my case, i compared it with the rest of Medieval Europe in which the ennoblement wasn't possible for commoners who dedicated their lives in the service of the nobility as mercenaries...

Let's see... If we see trough the to match in commons with Solansian Society, it have sense that Rowan could become General if we think in the or , i thought of this because in both periods The Cast System existed but the Shudras as Rowan could earned their occupations, which could mean that they could be integrated into a different social status (Cast), something that would be possible if Rowan hadn't renounce to be General as prologue hint us to avoid politics, but it can lose sense if we think later where Rowan is asked to decided for what system he favor, Feudalism or Might Makes Right, choosing the second implies that the feudalism was the base of most of his static social condition in life...

What i understand from an European perspective is that a commoner could be a mercenary, and them could rank in a military perspective but their social status can maintain the same, being a commoner mercenary or a so call man-at-arms accolated could make them part of the knights, but even that isn't the same as being ennobled (which is the official recognition and integration into the nobility). In contrast to India, some time of it's history people from low social class could stand a chance to achieve in life to change their live condition and status, but outside of the periods where this was common, it's difficult to imagine a Shudra (as Rowan) to raise in a war in a rank so high as General.

If you can expand here, i don't have trouble if you use spoiler button or if you want to begin a private conversation, i want to know to understand your perspective, if not represent a problem.

Rowan’s story reminds me of Jeanne d’Arc, whereby a peasant girl becomes a military leader, a hero of a people, and in the end, a martyr.

Anyway, here's one more Rowan X Heartsong CG.

I'm kinda fan of suffering or hazy dubcon, like Jezera with Alexia early on with the horny tea, etc.
But Heartsong may be best girl in a pure vacuum.

But he wasn't chosen by a divinity, besides he wasn't the only hero of all Solansia nor was some kind of prophecy related to him, much less he had visions or hear voices guiding his actions...
