To be fair, Rowan was one just some plain simple farm boy as well. He wasn't born a war hero or a great general. He was just some nobody that was thrown in an exceptional situation and was lucky enough to survive long enough to discover and build the talents that made him the man he is today. Rowan has already completed a fullBut then again it is just an option in one of playthroughs. You can't define her like she's some kind of oppressed jealous thing in general. But the whole corruption theme is a thing.
So i still don't get why she is so special in your opinion. She is a plain and simple farmgirl. Take for example Rowan: a war hero, strong willed and cunning warrior that is falling from his grace. It is interesting to see his development and how he change. On the other hand we have Alexia: normal housewife with no real life experience, no achievments, no goals, nothing. How is that an interesting protag? even if she gets fully corrupted my reaction will be :"Oh well whatever". She had no personality to begin with so corrupting her is not that difficult and not that important.

, and there were surely hundred if not thousands of choices that lead him to being the person he is now.For Alexia being kidnapped and help prisoner by demons is also an exceptional situation. This could be her inciting incident, her call to adventure if you will. She is still early in her journey but there are already seeds that show she could develop into a great woman, but whether she will or not depends on a mixture of luck and her own choices (our choices) just as it did for Rowan.
On a related note, if I recall correctly the developers have mentioned that they hadn't originally intended for Alexia to have such a large part in the story. She was mostly there to act as the inciting incident for Rowan, and for the NTR tag. But due to her popularity among the fan base her role in the story has grown and as such they want to give her more relevancy and agency in the story. However I suspect it will be a while before we see a lot of progress for her, they are currently focusing on other character arcs at the moment (Luirial, X'zaratl, and Cla-min as of the last

update), and Alexia will probably be the biggest one when they get to her because they said they want to give her an arc for each of her castle jobs. The beginning has been getting reworked (and is still in progress as per the last update). Likely to try and give Alexia more agency (see above), they have reworked the scene. Rowan will now always sneak out to see her, but instead of Rowan making the decision on where or not she should have sex with Andras, instead Alexia has the option to hate-fuck him when he comes to visit her, but to trigger this she has to have expressed interest in taking him up on his offer in their previous encounter.Anyone else having an issue getting the scene with Alexia and Andras at the start? When Rowan gets back from week 1 I get no choices for not sneaking out or telling her to do it with Andras. Rowan just shows up of his own accord and he tells her the truth and she gets angry and calls the night with Andras off. Did they change how this works or is the guide giving me info without the context of "The second time" or something?
