This game is positioned as a detective. If you've read detective stories, you probably know that nothing is clear in the beginning. (neighbors may be relatives, and loved ones may be antagonists. But this is my assumption). That is why I love detective stories, nothing is clear in them) I would not be surprised if an African-American sister turns out to be his own sister...

If I had been developing a game for about a year and I had 8 subscribers, then I would have just given up making it. And "hiding genres", as for me, is done in order to attract patrons to the game. What is the point of paying for the game, if all the same can be obtained by downloading from a pirate site? This is not cyberpunk 2077...))) My point was basically the way they are locking certain shit behind a paywall is fucked. Especially when it is banned patreon content, that is obviously very popular here (screams cashgrab and turns people off). The likely being pirated models just makes it worse but isn't the main point.

As for the point about other games here having incest.... well they don't on patreon, you have to patch them or custom set the relationships yourself. So they still follow patreon rules.

Not saying they have to buy the models (gotta start somewhere), but if they don't, then they shouldn't paywall it in any way. (early access doesn't count, most devs use that to test their games before public release anyway).

P.s. While this point wasn't relevant to what I was saying thought I would address it anyway. People pay because they enjoy it, there are games that wouldn't have met success if it wasn't for f95 (there is over a million people on here). The promotion scroll on the front page I have heard is particularly helpful in getting games more support.

Well, I was just theorizing why there wasn't an incest tag and given all the available information in the op. I love detective main character's too. An example would be Long Live the Princess by Belle. Since the Developer confirmed there will be incest. Then I will keep this in my watchlist to see what happens. Yeah I know I will never put my game on Patreon because censorship always stifles creativity.

I'll write to the author, maybe he will publish the incest version of the game here. (or I'll post it if he doesn't want to )
My opinion is that all developers (except those who draw art) pirate models. One model, or all... But pirates. Everyone wants to save money on something.
My opinion is that a developer with 1000 patrons can pirate all models, and a developer with 1 patron can buy them. We will not find out, and they will not present us with evidence. It's pointless to talk about it.

eh the dev can do what they want, I was just throwing out my 2 cents. Also while you can't post publically on patreon... you can post download links publically, just not imagery (afaik, cause other devs do exactly that).
