So... I'm sure that this has been discussed enough already but MAN was Jane's quest handled terribly. I understand that the plot is currently being set up so that the MC will get some manner of revenge, but I'm of the opinion that the reason why there is such an intense dislike of her character is because they overextended with just how negative she can be.
Her scenes are pretty hot and I'm the type of guy who doesn't like dominatrix's — nothing against those who do, to each their own after all — but I only found it that because I forced myself to separate janes's whole persona during. That's not good. It's fine that they have a character whose shitty, but the reasoning for the whole "separation" bit and her subsequent actions after paints her as nothing more than an emotional abuser, she left because the mom was an alcoholic. Sure that's bad but surely she could have been tamer about addressing her habits before she decided to go all gung-ho about it, call her wife a good for nothing including her children all because she couldn't control the mom's bad habits. I don't think this is how it's supposed to be presented, but that's how I feel because she's just that bad.
The scenario that happened could still work, it wouldn't have been great, but it'd still work if the devs had just shown her to be more subtle about her disappointment of the MC and his sister rather than outright call him names and abuse him right Infront of their mother before that whole situation happened.
This is bad because I fear that the moment Jane does receive her comeuppance it'll just feel... Hollow. Those moments are meant to invoke superiority in the player after having established their supposed dominance over a character that's presented to be very dominant, but Jane was just so negative and controversial of a character that I'd honestly feel better just having the option of calling the cops on her or slap her with a restraining order rather than stick the MC's magnum dong anywhere near her pothole.
Way I'd say they can somehow "redeem" her character without going the route that I prefer, which is very unfeasible for the type of game this is, is to have the MC finally call Jane out on her bullshit during or after whatever he does to her. He was about to stand up for himself during one moment but he immediately clammed up when she raised her voice against him. It'd be a good method to show the MC's growth as a character while also facilitating a change in an already disliked character towards a better place rather than just keep the latter and have people continue to bitch about it ad infinitum. Now granted, that's still going to happen, but not to the extent I'd say it is right now and certainly not to the point where they're writing a whole essay about it.

i understand this is a porn game so the plot serves more as a vehicle for raunchy situations to happen, but when something like this happens, the enjoyment you're supposed to gain is stifled since those types of issues are real — they happen, and unfortunately for this game, is handled so poorly that I'm not JUST suspending my sense of disbelief, I'm outright playing a game of whack-a-mole with it since I can see so many things the MC could have done to solve his issue, ones that take porn logic into consideration mind you, but I do it regardless just so I can go through the arduous chore of chugging through just to finish the game.

1) Aside from drinking, what else has Sue done that's bad and could be construed as abusive? She hasn't done anything untoward against her children aside from engaging in incest and cheating, Now compare what Jane did with the MC, now Jane and Sue aren't legally separated at this point, and in one of her scenes she puts him in a chokehold and takes advantage of him — literally still her adopted son on paper, and this reaches a point where the MC himself says he doesn't wanna work under her anymore but is forced to continue to at the current end of her quest and even makes him call her "master" after calling him a shitty person.
Unless Sue does something almost as extreme like outright slapping her kids, nothing she does at this point can compare, being an alcoholic doesn't even compare. It's not like Sue didn't even try, she tried to find work but apparently the town they're on is shit when it comes to prospects, we've seen that first hand.
2) My point there was that if the dev wanted to keep how the whole fiasco occured then the very least they can do is make her initial reaction to Sue drinking less extreme and more gradual. The time spent with the MC delivering papers could have been used to further add nuance to her relationship with Sue. I'm not wholly comparing real world issues with the game since I understand it's meant to be whacked off to plain and simply, but my frustrations stems from the fact that she feels like a wasted character now since I have a sneaking suspicion that there's not alot of people voting for more of her content. If during her whole tirade about how the MC is still her slave Jane had said "thank you" in some manner for getting her back with Sue, then I don't think she'd be received nearly as poorly and that there's at least a little bit of "feel good" payoff at the end of her quest rather than be left stewing at the fact that she's the bitchiest bitch to have ever bitched since the word bitch was invented and now we're going to have to wait for god knows how long before she gets her comeuppance.
This. For a game that proclaims upon being a visual novel, Jane is a bit too one dimensional and cartoonishly evil. Even if the dev tries to make the protagonist dominate Jane, how many would be willing to? It's just that she needs to actually change and be better not just the MC's slave.
