Futa/Trans tag, no Futa/Trans Protagonist tag

It's just my opinion after all. I imagine other futa/trans protagonist fans like myself will pour in here and be disappointed as well. I'm not so stuck on it that I won't check out the game but I'm going to need to walk off my initial excitement to give it a fair chance

thank you for your answeres yeah the transformation tag works better so far, once the futa/trans part is in the game the tag should be added ^^ until then you could put in a planned features section in the genre tab and put the futa/trans there. wish you the best of luck with this project and your others aswell

Once the thread was turned over to me I checked to see if there was a tag that is "just" trans protagonist. There is not. Looking at the tag lists it appears that futa/trans is intended for either/or as I thought. However, I don't want to mislead people so I took it off and added transformation. Under the genre spoiler I put "trans protagonist (optional)"

I apologize if you feel misled. It wasn't my intention. I'm not going to put futa/trans in the tag either. I know there is one in the game. I know who it is and they can be met in the current gameplay. However, there is no indication they are a futa at this point because the game hasn't really gotten to the point where that'd come up. On day 2, it will be an option to figure it out if I don't forget to add it but since players currently have no way of knowing I'll leave that tag off.

So is this one of those games where your character is the one who's subject to the corruption and mind control and you're trying to avoid it, or is it one of those games where multiple characters including the protagonist can subject others to it? Because I'm here for the mind control, but don't want to get invested in something that turns out to be another "watch your character be a victim" game.

Your character can be subjected to mind control at the moment in specific encounters. I am weighing a few options down the road that may allow your character to turn the tables but haven't 100% decided if that is my plan yet due to various factors, not the least of which is I already have a lot going on and don't want to overload myself.

I see where the confusion is... and I could be on the wrong side of this.
Futa/Trans = Futanari/Transsexual(Shemale)

Whereas your protagonist starts as male and Transformed into a Female Protagonist and not a Transformed Protagonist.

Again, I'm not a tag specialist but I am confident that this is how the community treats these tags.

I know different people have different perspective to the term "Futa/Trans Protagonist" But based on what most people see in F95Zone till now is when a dev marks a game with the tag "Futa/Trans Protagonist" it usually means chick with something special (Or oversized something special). so most Trans protagonist fans in this site might download the game for the "Chick with something special" enjoyment and might feel differently about it.

So i think its best you mention what "Futa/Trans Protagonist" function or feature is available in the description so players will know exactly what they get and dont leave negetive rewires just because it didn't contain exactly what they wanted.

For example:
Male Protagonist transforms to Female Protagonist.
Female Protagonist now has the Mentality of a Man.
Since now the Protagonist is Mentally a Man in a Female Body, We have 'Futa/Trans Protagonist'.

I wouldn't hold it against a dev who applied this tag for this reason personally, but like you mentioned before it wouldn't sit right with most people. I would've insta-downloaded this but I didn't see any cocks in the previews, futa/trans protag fanatics would lose their shit under normal circumstances

Unlike most people i like to keep an open mind about everything. So even if the Tag says "Futa/Trans Protagonist" and there's no actual "Chick with something special" i wont feel bad because i know the dev tried to implement this as a Protagonist mentality or something like that. So still good to see there are dev's that actually use their smarts and imagination to show certain perspective of something.

It will. You can actually meet two potential lesbian characters in this release. One of them is pretty obvious. The other likely is too (I think at least).

These actually got reported to me elsewhere today. I've already fixed the issues with Anya and later tonight I plan to fix the ones with the Doctor hypno stuff. After dinner and some family time. I have also revamped how energy works due to a lot of feedback.

1) Moving from your bedroom to the entry hall to the outside of the B&B and back no longer costs energy. Getting to the secret area if you have found it does cost energy because you have to work your way through underbrush and stuff. I have done the same with the motel. Going in and out of the motel room no longer costs energy.
2) Moving between locations now costs 3 energy instead of 5.
3) Skill costs are unchanged as those are meant to be the primary source of wearing yourself out along with your jobs.

I've fixed those bugs and also tweaked the energy system to be less punishing based on feedback. Thank you for bringing them to my attention!

Edit: You left trans protagonist off of the tags. That is one of the two story paths available.

There really should be a separate gender-bender tag. It's a common enough trope (way too common, if you ask me) that it should be able to be identified in the tags without mixing it up with "futa" characters or those who are trans from birth. I mean, there's a tag for sissification, which is basically a less common version of the same thing without the full gender swap. You'd think there'd be a tag for the more common counterpart.

Trans as an option yes. Futa no. I'm sorry though there is a futa character you could become sexually involved with. She's in the game but the player has no way of knowing who she is yet.

Looks nice! If only this game was Renpy.

I considered Ren'py. Honestly, I'm glad I went with Twine because it has an extremely helpful Dev community. They're helped me improve my game as I worked on it and even helped me find bugs and improve my code.
