You pretty much nailed it last page. It's definitely netorare in game because she's being actively stolen and their relationship is being actively subverted and destroyed. Him being present for it doesn't undermine that point, she's acting out of his control, villains are destroying their relationship, MC isn't getting any love or intimacy from her and he has absolutely zero agency. As opposed to the netorase path where the MC is in the drivers seat even to the point that you can choose a lot of the netori and swinging options if you for some reason don't want MC getting cucked for a scene, the MC and the wife's relationship is strengthening through them mutually and consensually exploring their fetish together and nobody is undermining or destroying their relationship. The content might be similar but the dynamic is completely different.

Yes and no. Netorare is the fetishization of loss through sex. Cuckolding is just the easiest and most consistent translation for it. A lot of Japanese NTR isn't focused on what we'd consider cuckolding but the destruction of familial and platonic relationships as well. Mom NTR is a particularly popular derivative where the mother is stolen away from her son by a villain who's out to destroy their relationship. Games/comics like Seasons of Loss for example.
And I know you'll be good Joshy but for everyone else no that doesn't mean that anyone fucking your mom is NTR. It need to be predicated on the dynamic of it subverting or destroying the relationship. With all due respect, I don't think you understand the distinction between netorare and netorase. Netorare *is* cuckolding, which can include flat out cheating where the MC is completely unaware, but the focus is the MC being forced to watch in most cases against his will which somehow gets him off (also against his will). All of the dialogue regarding MC realizing he's a cuck is hesitant and uncertain, he's not 100% okay with it yet but he's resigned to the fact that Lara will do what she wants with or without his approval.

At the beginning of Chapter 5, on the NTR path, the MC is asked if he likes it, and there is little hesitation or reluctance when he says "yeah, I like watching you fuck other men." At least I didn't gather the hesitance on the behalf of the MC. You may have intended differently, but that's what it was to me. And it's very blatantly against Netorare as a whole from perspective, possibly due to differing ideas of what NTR is.

There are times, specifically with the pizza boy, that is straight up cheating with the MC unaware, or cases in which he's suspicious or is shown a picture hinting towards it, but it's massively overshadowed by, as Joshy92 said, with that form of western NTR. Going into this game, and having played every chapter until I stopped at Chapter 5, I felt it was an okay balance, but clearly this is going in a direction that the supposed cheating is being replaced or consistently overshadowed by a theme of voyeurism/sharing, which dampens the NTR for me massively, and is practically Netorase in everything but the "reluctance".

So, with all due respect, I think my statements are absolutely logical, it is simply a matter of your definition of NTR goes closer towards Voyeurism and Sharing, and thereby closer to Netorase, rather than my traditional view of NTR as hard cheating, MC being unaware or only getting hints of it, with jealousy a significant emotion that can be felt that I simply didn't feel in this. Perhaps the dialogue is different in your Netorase path, I don't really care, nor consider that a factor in what I feel, because the themes and emotions are practically identical to Netorase from my point of view. Others may feel different, but that's my stance. Do with it, if anything, what you will.

Read more than just that immediate dialogue. Throughout the NTR path he expresses hesitance or dislike and the wife responds by berating him for it. His dialogue options like not liking Jack or w/e his name is, his internal thoughts, his body language, and his hesitance and stutter make it pretty clear that he doesn't like what's happening, he's just too pathetic to stand up to his wife about it on that path. He has no say and no agency on that path and it's pretty clear that she's being stolen away from him against his wishes.

I release an update per month. I'm not sure how to quantify the size of the updates, probably 2-300MB each update, average 60-70 new images, 3-4000 lines of script. Play time varies from person to person, but I'd estimate maybe 20-30 minutes each update. Not sure if anyone else wants to chime in here.

I noticed the new version there's no option to impregnate Alina. Does that like, increase the resale value of my pregnant Alina save or something? Liked the text from Izzy about that, not that I'm keeping track of the days so it feels a little quick for a test to show but I still thought it was a nice touch.
Overall I liked the update. I feel like the netori path is fleshing out really well and I can't wait till we get some more dude's wives pregnant.

Big note for anyone loading a save from last version. Pregnancy has switched from a random chance to a choice variable that's set at the beginning of last version. If you want pregnancy you'll want to open up your console and type "preg=True" without the quotes, or change the preg variable to True with either URM or a save editor. At least on the netori path there was no impregnation this update so you won't have missed anything so far, but you'll probably want that for future versions if you like pregnancy and you're using a save from last version.

Ahh, I'd only read the patch notes, not the dev notes where the warning is. I'll just stick with it, I've got the now vintage Alina tag. If something breaks it doesn't really take too long to get through everything and for this update at least I didn't get any error screens.
