Oh, there are assets that let you use a blank shader for hair that would retain all strands, and the light reflections on hair, but will make it really easy to recolour everything. But how many colours would people need? Two, three, four? The game is 13 Gb already, and I don't even want to imagine how big it would be at the very end of its development. Now, let's triple that. To quote Blake: «eh».
To be fair the game is much bigger than it needs to be, PNG is a horrendous format for photos or 3D renders.

I liked the way Melinda looked at the beginning of the game
I had certain technical problems with her old hairstyle, which is why I had to change it. But in v0.13 I tried to find her a different one, similar to the original. Not only in shape, but in colour, too.

Developing Shattered is extremely time-consuming, and given that I have to work two other jobs, I barely get any rest. My body’s been almost literally falling apart for quite some time, so my goal is to just finish this thing, give you a satisfying ending, and never open Daz again in my life.

I take it slowing development down a tad to gain some breathing room to rest your body, mind, and soul isn't an option now, is it? Ah well, you gotta do what feels best for you. Hope it all works out for you!

Sad to hear it but burn out is a serious disease. You must do what you need to stay healthy. :)

Hello, game is literally awesome. Its not just stupid porn without any sense, its really interesting, kind of composition. Thx a lot!
Passed through what is ready at this moment and the impression is that the character is somewhere between the real route of Melidna (what does it mean by himself by the way?) and the sissy route of Melinda, if at all possible.
I want to find out what remains undiscovered with the walkthrough and here the question, what is "bad choice points"? What do they affect?

Those bad choices only matter for a specific scene at the end of v0.6 (or v0.7, I don't remember exactly). If Blake makes too many bad choices, he gets a very unpleasant scene to teach him a lesson. If he makes none, he gets the reward.

My original plans for Claude, and Troy changed significantly after I decided to make the club job mandatory on all playthroughs. Initially it was supposed to be optional, and Claude, and Troy were meant to be more abusive, and pushing. But since you can't avoid them completely now, it made more sense to make them friendlier towards Blake.
