Yes. There will be some connection, but that will have a completely different style/genre.

i think this was a sweet story, ya i like the porn aspects cause im a perv but damn its still a very sweet story...... makes ya wish real life had happy endings like that

Rather a KN. There are some choices, but mainly affects the dialogues. Only one or two scenes are different based on what you choose.
Oh no I have to tease, old joke.... The MC is such a talented linguist, that dissertation he gave to Sophia practically had her singing a refrain. Constructive criticism: A space alien suddenly stole the H from Sofia's dialogue during MC and her first copulation entry. " Well.. You are bigger than I tought" I will alert the hounds and we will see if we can tree that pesky alien! Beta alert, MC cannot keep up walking in a remote park, but he is fit in his mind to break the legs of Sofia's stalker.
Overall a good effort on this release. Some technical issues like: Sofia is riding MC, yet she states: Don't slow down, he is apparently passive, not doing the heavy lifting (joke).
Your crew reminds me of my daughter, She learned C+, C++, and HTML, she and some friends were in band, and wrote some music, and drew animae's hoping for a commercial release. Later she set up web pages and the like for businesses both independent and in house. My background was a lot of early coding, machine, business, languages and communications. Later compression several levels and types for CD... LD blah blah, sorry I got carried away in nostalgia. But good on you for this, I think you can offer this up on the market as is, mostly as a graphic novel, needs some more paths perhaps for User interaction and immersion. I also strongly suggest you incorporate a sub-plot as you shooting star and implied a potential alien, celestial or ethereal connection work that on another release perhaps. That would up your market and funding. Like one of the early influences that loved the child used their ectoplasm to improve the outcome for their genetic offspring...

The psychology of dead parent influences on a youth, the missing links providing by the nurturer, enforcer, protector, provider, and influencer has a profound effect on the outcome and social skills and interactions later in life. Self confidence, introvert, extrovert, how much effort is put into fitting in or excelling.

Good but really fast forwarded a lot in the story. Mostly they told us what happened instead of showed it.

Shooting Star Review
If anything, the dev wants to tell a story. A story of how people overcome their past to become new people. That worked, for the most part. Shooting Star was a mildly enjoyable experience.
The main story is the strongest part of Shooting Star, but it does have faults. Support characters are flown in and out at will while two main characters remain. It's a story of fear and love, with a sprinkle of lust. I feel as if with more effort the story could have been told even better, but you get the gist of what's happening.
The rendering is medium quality, but a bit noisy. The game offers enough renders and switches between both first-person and third-person perspectives. The latter half of the game actually seems better furnished and framed, which shows the dev really cares as the story picks up.
It's a fairly small game - completed in about 1.5 hours. Story choices give the illusion of change, but they are really just variations to the same road. Since the base story is good, that's really not a problem here. There are sexual scenes in there, which are about what you would expect from a game like this - but they seem a bit randomly placed.
I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for a small VN to have fun with and enjoy some story. Three to four stars, probably four because of the effort developer made.
TIPS:
• Have a thorough look to upgrade spelling and dialog, easiest way to increase the quality
• Make more use of supporting characters throughout the story
• UI & text seems a bit harsh on the eye
• Filling compositions makes them stand out instead of looking like renders
• Maybe get the noise out of the renders if possible

A nice little childhood friend story. Kudos to the dev for including galleries but they should have been accessible from main menu.
Made a quick mod to add them to the main menu and also skip the Age and Audio Mute questions when starting the game.
