Ignoring the absolute lore conflicts of the genocide player being able to do EX Scenarios, I'm curious as to how you modded the game. I'm looking into modding it myself for other purposes. This was my whole reason to do the Genocide EX mod to counter that stuff and allow geno players into the EX chapters, recently I finished the EX2 part. Though I'm not a dev and it most likely won't come out perfect, but at least there was an attempt.
TM is achieved by befriending every single demon in My Room, and then completing a run with zero assists used at Lvl 1.Have two question
(1) how to complete mercy run
(2)dlc already installed, or need download and instal
Ty for answer
I think v8.07 comes with a Game.rvproj2 files so me to edit it in RPG Maker, otherwise I just copy and pasted one in there. Also, it's basically impossible to do justice to genocide route players without breaking the lore considering it's constructed to crap on them. So there's not much choice there.Ignoring the absolute lore conflicts of the genocide player being able to do EX Scenarios, I'm curious as to how you modded the game. Do you know where I could get something to decrypt/unpack SHRIFT? I have VX Ace and want to modify the project from in there.
Crap on them or not the EX Scenarios are literally the Old One trying to ruin True Mercy which isnt necessary if Genocide happens. Even still, the mod sounds fun and interesting so good luck.I think v8.07 comes with a Game.rvproj2 files so me to edit it in RPG Maker, otherwise I just copy and pasted one in there. I just put it in the game folder and opened it with RPG Maker.Crap on them or not the EX Scenarios are literally the Old One trying to ruin True Mercy which isnt necessary if Genocide happens. Even still, the mod sounds fun and interesting so good luck.
Regardless, did you just put the rvproj2 file somewhere else or did you open it from RPG Maker?
I think it's pretty unlikely to find any demons of reasonable strength in the first place. None of the important demons are coming after you, so you'd have to be unlucky to find them. The weaker demons can be avoided and beat by peashooters or otherwise persuaded. Running is always a possibility. We aren't special so unlike Kazuya demons won't be extremely interested in us. Lampas or dog girl are in the realm of possibility of beating or running away from. Mother rabbit is easily persuaded and is more likely to go after people already fucked. Harpies will without a doubt bother us the moment they think they can take us. Tbh it might be smart to just ask Mother rabbit to help us for a little. Echos are not as much as a problem as long as you stay away from water, it's unlikely they will forcefully attack us as if I remember correctly their actions with Kazuya were extremely unlike them.Did someone say genocide?
Time to talk about who and what demon you would spare and which you would annihilate!
To make it easier, imagine that you're like Yuyaa, a commander of an army and your job is take back the city Kazuya goes through from the demons. In that scenario, I'd seal the doors of the Shelters Kazuya woke up in since it's filled to the brim with demon dogs that might genuinely be too dumb to really reason with and plant demons whose litteral purpose in existence is to make lamps with the soul of the humans they manage to seduce. I'd assume that eventually that'd make them leave.
Like back to the demon world? I forgot that part of the lore honestly. Anyway, wipe out the harpies because they're birds of prey that focus on the weak and injured. I guess one could leave the Echos alone...unless one of your men dissapears. (I forgot how obvouis it to notice if one of them was brainwashed into being an Echo's lover or if they're just that horny)
No need to worry about the Sphinx, Haru and Liz, Mother Rabbit, Time stopping Doll, Cruel Spiderwoman and the Black Coffin monsters since this is post Kazuya's adventure and they would no longer be there in the first place.
I guess the Spider's nest and familiars still remain, if so...honestly, I'd say a coin toss on deciding to even try to enter that place to free any humans sealed inside there since it's unlikely they might still be alive or even capable of recovery (they literally turn into goop slowly irrc). And I think that's all? That really wasn't much of a talk now that I think about it.
Oh, forgot about the bird demons with parasite tails. I think they're a TPK (Total Party Kill), they're super fast, one stab of their tail and you're their slave and I don't see how you'd repel them without a specific strategy in mind.
So new question, what are the odds of survival in that world when you're not Kazuya? For one you wouldn't have Black Coffin demons send your way but you also don't have magic and will have to rely on the equipment you can find.
If you wake up in a shelter, or well, the shelter then you're just out of luck. One of the dogs or Lampas will get you. If you're in the city, then as long as you got a weapon and don't have superbly bad luck, then the harpies won't bother you until you show any sort of weakness. Just don't go to the Park with the Echos in it too, (I'd assume there'd be big graffiti letters warning about the place having brainwashing mermaids inside them at the entrances of it) but to make a long story short.
Unless you're lucky and find a really strong weapon with decent ammo, the moment you meet a demon of reasonable strength, it's just game over.
And we genocide route players get shit and be turned into bad guys for not being simps for demons.I think it's pretty unlikely to find any demons of reasonable strength in the first place. Now ive talked about why I believe surviving in shrift is possible with further knowledge, lemme change that. The moment you find a single semi strong demon you are fucked. Completely. No matter how unlikely this is, it will happen eventually. The problem is some demons just have abilities impossible for a normal human to combat. How are you going to beat time stop? You aren't. How are you gonna beat the demon healing themselves? You aren't. Having a big massive pew pew gun isn't gonna save you against demons. Im baffled shrift even has any military groups at all, when all they basically do is lose against anyone who's actually a problem.
If you ever get reincarnated into the shrift universe, best chance you have is to either immediately become a priest (somehow) which would give you a better chance. Or to just stay alive until you find the demon girl you wanna die to.
What's most annoying for me is the extreme lengths they had to take to make genocide bad. It couldn't be realistic, someone trying to retake the world from demons who kill humans like we're livestock. Noooo we want to kill everything, we just love killing apparently. Even Yuuma tells you to stop genociding. Like bro these demons have killed many of your soldiers and you don't want them dead? Genocide rubs me the wrong way purely because the dev seems to not understand why his homicidal demons should be killed. And we genocide route players get shit and be turned into bad guys for not being simps for demons.
You underestimate the indomitable human spirit. Yuuma's mentor is a completely normal human soldier that had been participating in the war since it's inception, and had managed to do just fine against all sorts of demons before being killed by Arachne.Did someone say genocide?

All of them dead, next question.Did someone say genocide?

*Cheshire*"Or to just stay alive until you find the demon girl you wanna die to."
genocide really feels like they are reading it from a script, like come on aint no way in neutral everyone is all silly and actually being themselves while in genocide they change their behavior completely, how come the lab girl and the reception chick have no relationship at all in neutral while in genocide they suddently work together and watch Kazuya, saying that they still had hope for him, like what??? how did those two even meet in genocide??? also the really stupid fact that the demons are always aware of Kazuya and what he did, you meet the next demon and theyre like "ah, youre kazuya, i know this because the others told me! you killed so many demons!" yeah, i also killed as many demons as possible in neutral, but of course now that im doing genocide youre pointing the finger at me. they even had to unsillify sphinx to make her serious enough about it, grew a few extra brain cells now that your "friends" are dead, huh? shoutout to the parasite demon though, she atleast sticked to her true nature, even if a little late, couldve taken control over yuumas girlfriend a bit sooner.
Which scene are you talking about, exactly? In all EX chapters, once you complete the chapter you get all its loss scenes, even if you didn't actually play through them (with the exception of Cheshire's blowjob scene in EX3)Do i gotta lose and see the scene to get it in EX4 or can i just lose n try again?
