the guide says you can‹t do the Genocide route after EX4. why is that? i haven’t completed EX4 yet, so no spoilers, please.

I don't know how much I can say without actually spoiling it. Mostly because I haven't even played it myself yet. But from what I've heard, something happens in Genocide that EX4 makes impossible to happen. Or EX4 gives a certain "ending" or something. I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was one of those two things I think.

To put it in layman's terms, the Bonus that allows you to reset NG+ gets locked once you complete EX4. Preventing you from resetting your bonds with demons and by extension making it impossible to kill them.
You can circumvent this by just playing on Hardcore though, probably, I think, it shouldn't be too difficult anyways.

what are all the Easter eggs for naming the protagonist at the start of the game? what if you name him “Old One”? it won’t fit in the English translation, but “オールドワン” should fit in the original Japanese version, right?

alas, if only he did not make like a jrpg and turn based, perhaps he would move in real time and be able to do so

Also, the demons kind of charm you and you have to fight your urges.

Sure but its not like you have to defend the game's combat in response to the meme, obviously he understands why it doesn't work like that.

ive just completed the game on the version 8.07 and got ending mercy B... How do i play the dlc or colaboration content?

You need to do true mercy to access the EX chapters. (which requires bonding with all the demons)

Working on playing the game again through Suicidal (Hard) myself. I just got to the last couple of chapters, whoo boy that 2nd and 3rd boss were not fun with this game's janky rng luck, it's one of my biggest complaints about this game.
The a.i. does the same moves way too many times and it should have been programmed better so they can't spam moves, 2 should have been the limit, but I feel that's too much sometimes.
