I can't find it anywhere around here, but I am having the game crash on me with no error message when battles start. It has been so far with the Barghests but it is near unplayable with it crashing so often. PLZ help
Yeah, just tried everything I could think of. The biggest problem is that I cannot get an error for what's happening. Redownloading and unpacking it in JP included. The crash seems more likely to happen when I run in Fullscreen, but it will still happen in windowed mode. Any ideas? Any way to get crash reports?

Thank you a bunch! It hasn't crashed going into combat a single time with how I got it to crash last time.
can someone explain to me what the deal is with the black fox event thats probably gonna get finished after shrift 2 is done? it seems like one of the four crystals of which only 3 are lit up is referencing the world of shrift 2 but i can't tell what the other 2 lit crystals are referencing or what it all actually means
Guys bonding and milking with everyone at my room shows me a game over? Anyone know a fix? This has never happend before
Edit: Fixed!!! So basically what happened is that when the willpower stat went 0 it'll insta lose even when at "my room". I think it happens when you change chapters (like from chap 2 to 3) Had to learn to use mtool to fix it.
If you have the same problem youll need to run the the game using mtool. In mtool go to actors >state then check the no. 18 box. I think it was something about invincibility turn of after battle: false then save your game

Stopped the random encounter Barghest crashes. Now I'm crashing every second time I'm caught by a Lampas in the first dark room with the maze stuff. Would like to say I can skill solution my way out of it, but I can't. Any ideas?
All Lampas encounters have a chance to crash now...

If Japanese locale emulator doesn't work, changing your actual locale to Japanese might help, but I can't really imagine it making that much of a difference
Checking again just now, I apparently WAS in Japanese for region. I think my issue has to do with accident encounters with Lampas.

Uhh... Maybe a path to your game has weird symbols or just too long? Try to move your game folder to the root of your virtual disk, be it C:\ or D:\ doesn't matter.
How much free RAM do you have by the way?
I'll try moving it to the root of my E drive, and I have 32GB of RAM. It really cannot be that my PC is underpowered bc I splurged on this setup

Hmm... it's hard to figure out what is the problem, but it's certainly a system error (not the game's) that caused by some unknown incompatibilities.
The least I can recommend is to try running the game through the virtual machine or sandboxie, but it won't run smoothly.
Also this will come in handy as well.
Everything works fine on Windows 11 by the way.

I'm tried to launch game with JoiPlay. Everything is fine...until the first encounter, right after awakening >XD. Game crashes with no error. Does someone got solution?
