Hello, it says ''VIRUS'' on updated file, is it false positive? Thank you for your efforts.
I downloaded the file, opened it with Windows Sandbox and there is a single text file named rpy. There is no possible virus to be had. Something has to be executable there for a virus to occur on Windows. But I did notice I had to go through the warning and captcha to download it properly. I tried to right click and download it and it failed. On a 3 KB file. Sigh.

was about to just straight into the update as it seemed to be mainly a Yuna update. then saw there was the second part for Nicole and Zoey. Now I have to restart just so I get the full experience and don't forget anything :D

Clearly you haven't played the Em solo ending in MBML where they literally show sci-fi powered ppl and a literal goddess many many updates ago

I think it's less so that everyone is randomly super powered now but that they've been there all along and we just haven't noticed them.
I have and that was weird but still okay. I'm not sad about what these characters are now, I'm sad that it's so forced in retroactively. If it was done like this from the start it would be over the top but fine, but it clearly wasn't planned like this when the rework was done. It feels like bad writing, where it ends up with every major challenge the characters face, there's a hidden superpower some character secretly had the whole time that now saves the day, aka a deus ex machina.

the moment the new update shows up, i've played sicae from the start. i'm really immersed on this gameplay and thanks to niichan's dedication on making this. although i'm gonna ask about something, like the love interest of the mc had been reduced on the 0.6 update?

ok so if you don t understand me, i will quote a review of your other game... which applies to this one.

"
1) Abrupt change in plot, unplanned writing
From a simple plot line of "meeting your high school bully again and living with her", the game took an abrupt turn and seems to have turned into some sort of mafia-gang-crime-assassin-mystery. It would have been cool if it was build-up from the beginning, hint at from the dialogue or perhaps just a bit of foreshadow in the character's action, but no, these changes just pop out of nowhere and it feel so forced and weird. To make these changes, more and more characters are introduced for the sake of telling the story, but they are hardly getting any meaningful arc or dialogues so they are not developed at all. The change in plot is so sudden that I cannot help but suspect the dev actually didn't plan the writing at all but just threw in whatever ideas they have and make a messy stew out of the plot. The dev/writer of the game went all out to try and add depths to the plot by adding sudden, unnecessary back stories to every girls, e.g. the whole Emma and mother flashbacks which took almost an entire episode (that is perhaps the single longest flashback scenes in the history of AVN - am I watching NARUTO or something?) But these backstories are clearly afterthoughts because they just pop out from thin air without any foreshadowing or build up. It is the worst kind of things you can do to ruin a character.
And of course the dialogues remain childish and non-sensical. Everyone has like the IQ of 12 year old in this game.

2) Hardly any sex scenes
For a game that has been in development for such a long time, I thought there would be substantial amount of H-scenes, seeing that the writing is hardly given any thought. But no, despite the one thousand characters introduced we only get to see like less than 10 scenes with a handful of the girls, and these are few and far in between (out of the 3-4 hours playtime, only 5 mins are H-scenes) and they are all very basic AND identical.
I am not saying the game should be overflooded with sexy time but if your writing is already so poor, maybe more H-scenes can compensate your poorly laid-out writing, but in this case both aspects are equally lacking.
"

Well, i would like, have more time with the first girls, you fuck your 2 years friend and she disappears from story, you have one event with the best friend of ken and she disappear, 2 event with aurora and she disappear, etc...
Find your old girlfriend (even if she near), pffff don t care anymore...
And the new plot start, and a new troop of fight li come, the nina red girl, the pink head girl, etc... well you keep charlotte a least it s good.
You accept li or not don t change anything in the second stage because of the constent new li and the few time we have with the old.
That what i said when i said " The structure of the game are nearly the same..." the structure is just a copy past.
And if you push a little your thinking, you can easily see the caracters are also nearly the same, just with a new looking and few background story but nearly the same.

Well, argumentum ad personam... attack the form without being interested in the substance i see, well i m not english native no, and i don t had many problem to be understand here, so... Maybe it s just you.

That's exactly it Mr The White Knight, it s my issue with this game. And that why i post here to say it. you know free pirate forum to talk about pirate game with the dev of the game who post it here...

Well i expect more that a copy past, i expect new thing. it s that bad when you try a new game...? yes it s the same world, but i feel it s the same mc, the same story, the same li (i m not talking about the visual here), like for example you play zelda breath to the wild, and just after you play tears of the kingdom. 2 games right but nearly the same anyway.

i never post review, i don t watch, i don t evaluate anythings... i talk in forum of what i feel with the dev if i can.

MMMmmm, maybe this will feel a little hard but i don t try to insult anyone... I m fan of games, that all. I really don t care of devllopers. i don t care there live, i don t really care how they feel, i m never a fan or a groupie... i care about games that all.
So i will talk about game, you talk about dev don t make an argument for me.

I never support a dev who have not finish at least one game. it s my rule to see what the devs are.

For finish, forgot where are we talking ? it s a pirate site where all is free, and a forum for talking about game, in good or bad.
i don t really care about what you think of what i think Mr the white knight, and i will tell what i think of this game honestly.
maybe i will move the dev view, or maybe not. But i had said what i think, your free to do the same, but don t expect i answer you anymore.
Okay.

To put it simply, it had no direction. Now it has. The way it is now is where I want the story to head into. If you feel that way, I'm sorry to disappoint you.

You didn't disappoint me that's for sure however I can see that you & Caribdis are defiantly thick as thieves when it comes to cliffhangers.:devilish::ROFLMAO:

Wtf, you mean to tell me you're a human being who improves and the story can have flaws and isn't perfect from the beginning?

Shame on you, I expected better from you omniscient being behind the screen giving me adult stories to play :HideThePain:

aka a deus ex machina
I did not see the mention of deus ex machina, so I will try to clarify that. Yes, I am aware of its usage. Its presence in the story doesn't always scream it's already bad. There are ways to make it work: Proper world-building, a build-up, or a backstory. These three elements are the key to lessen the plot device's sudden or abrupt effect. In Lance's case, the entirety of episode 5 implies that he has something hidden; by the end of episode 5, it is confirmed, and episode 6's intro reveals what it is, then the usage of it during the final fight scene. Not to mention the mention of serums and what they are. This is the same in Nicole's case during episode 4; now, the reveal in episode 6. Its existence isn't always lazy or bad writing when there are apparent implications or clues dropped beforehand. Otherwise, I would have puked about the idea of it myself.

Uh i think aurora at least was in mbml which kinda confirms her as a li (probably?) and at least shina was mentioned to be an assassin too
Uhm, to answer you and those who asked, they got put to the side. If you check the replay menu, there's a panel with (?). That's where I'd put their scenes in case we get to feature them. Admittedly, aside from Aurora, I don't have solid plans for them anymore. Also Shina isn't an assassin. :KEK: The Iteza Clan isn't an assassin clan. I guess this isn't much of a spoiler, but Iteza is a clan that produces advanced technological medicine. Yuna, as she is now, is the only one who became an assassin.

My definition of assassin was like "part of a sicae clan" or wasnt the Iteza Clan part of the Sicae? poking for spoilers

I mean not even all members of the dietrich clan seem to be literal assassins if youre not sneakily turning jess and eliza into sword throwing killers too at a later point :geek:

Nope, Iteza is an independent clan from Sicae. They aren't connected by any means.

And nah, those two are the crew's tactical brains. Otherwise, people will complain that it's so forced retroactively, that it's bad writing, abrupt change of story, and that it wasn't planned

I think what seemed most out of place to me was Eliza. Sure she was always teased as being good with computers, but ended up with some next level secret hacker skills. That felt a "little too convenient" to me at that moment. Maybe it was just too many reveals in one place, so it felt like you were just making stuff up to get the story base where you now want it to be.
