I'm stuck in the basement with the policewoman, what should I do?
Same here. And the shelf is blocking the entrance to the secret room. Continued fromy my last beach save of 0.36.
Is there a fix for my playthrough or do I have to revert for someone elses sav-File?

Kinda... meh.

Visually great, but UE5, so shitty performance even on my rig.

But most importantly, it's on rails. No way to avoid content you don't want, no real control.
Can't really control who the MC fuggs or where.
Could have made it a VN and one would hardly notice a difference.
There's technically some variance here and there but largely it's on rails yep.

Figured out the blocked door problem, kinda obvious really, cant beat incompedance lol XD

Make sure you actually replace the Tape 10 save data in your save folder with the new one out
of the game folder, just because a tape 10 save is there doesnt mean thats the one its loading

C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\OST_Game\Saved\SaveGames

Odds are, if you've downloaded the new game your loading an old save data which is bugged

does anyone have a save before you first look at the video camera in the attic, it crashed my game and I dont wanna replay the scenes

At this point someone needs to just make a gallery unlocker mod that ignores game progress. Between the inability to save in the moment and the game randomly crashing, it's very difficult to get through. Plus there are scenes you can easily miss then you have to go through the agonizing process of getting to them again. Not to mention the past few updates took place nowhere near Kira's house, only in this current update are we in it again and that's the only place to access the gallery.

So, I just figured out that this game does a terrible job of keeping its files cleaned up. If you have ever installed an older version of the game it seems to not update the older files in C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Local\OST_Game, it just adds the new ones and calls it a day when you first launch the game, so you end up with a mix of old and new files that causes conflicts.

It was causing a crap load of crashes for me. I recommend removing your save files from C:\Users\echo0\AppData\Local\OST_Game\Saved\SaveGames and putting them somewhere else, deleting the whole OST_Game folder along with everything left inside it, launching the game using the exe, quitting, and then putting your save files back.

This appears to have fixed all the crashes and t-posing characters for me. Not sure if it will fix it for anyone else but thought I would mention it. Good luck.
