Arguably not optional because there's a scene of one of the (I'm assuming potential) love interests getting eaten out that happens (again I'm assuming) whether you view it or not, before the NTR toggle.
I don't mind NTR, but I will bet a large amount of hard currency that someone won't be happy about that.

Just a weird introduction before you choose to turn NTR on or off, but technically ntr is there if you consider hailey is a possible love interest instead of a random hoe.

You don't need to consider it, she actually is. Just look at the relationship stats, she is at the bottom of it. With this, many people won't bother, because there is basically already unavoidable NTR. Major screw up for now. Maybe dev will change it, maybe not. For now, I don't have much confidence and will wait the next few updates at the side line before getting back to it.

Yeah, just hit that bar scene literally a few hours after the gym BJ. She knows the MC is working there (it’s where they literally met), yet she rolls in with some random dude, does the blatant “oops, need the bathroom” playbook, guy follows her, and you get the choice to… keep working or follow. Doesn’t matter if anything actually happens in there or not(something definetively happened, that's blatantly obvious). The staging is typical cliche NTR-beat/swinger set-up. At that point the entire “NTR is optional and avoidable” promise is already dead in the water for a huge part of the player base, toggle or no toggle (and the toggle literally unlocks right after this, at that, just before the v0.3 ends.). For a lot of us, she’s now dead as an LI the second that scene triggers. This could by pure technicality, be the swinger set-up, but, that too, just sits wrong. That's not a "no discussion, just do" kinda thing. Even in games, outside of the ones specifically blatantly aimed at it, where swinging is the core premise of it all.
Parking the game for a few updates and hoping the dev walks it back. If not; I tried it, got rug-pulled anyway, moving on. Too many games in this genre mix do the exact same thing and it’s just exhausting at this point. This is why I never trust harem tagged games with "optional" NTR and/or swinging content. Somehow, it's exceptionally rarely optional, despite what promises the devs toss out.
