I think it's been talked about before in the past, but I think the last update pretty much confirmed it, even if it wasn't said. Frank is not the top chicken but Becca is.

The whole sex tape story where she has no regard for Frank's wishes and doesn't even offer him a compromise ("Sleep on it a few nights and then we'll decide.") clearly shows me that she's the one wearing the pants here.

Let's look again at the decisions Frank made in retrospect: In the decisions Frank made, was there ever a situation where Becca was in on it, even though it resulted in a definite disadvantage for her? The way I see it, if there were, they were compromises for a "greater good" that supported her plans in the short or long run.

Keeping the Abby thing out of her plans? No sacrifice, since Abby very likely already had her own plans at that point.

The bet with Lilly: a calculated sacrifice to get Lilly on board faster before she flirts with the next idiot.

Mei support? No big deal either.

From there, I'd say the pecking order is as follows:

Becca (unofficially)
Frank
Becca (official)
Lilly and Abby

I would place Mei on the same level as Lilly and Abby.

According to the last update, my ranking of Lilly, Becca and Abby has also changed for me:

Before the update, Abby and Becca were together in 2nd place for me, but the development of the two has brought some movement into it: Abby could actually gain some points while Becca had to forfeit some.

Finally, I have to say that I have the impression that Becca's behavior is probably due to the fact that she normally considers herself the most intelligent person in the room and accordingly does not think it possible that she could make a serious mistake. While I certainly concede that she is definitely the most intelligent person in the room in the family environment, Frank is very gullible, Lilly lacks life experience and is too impulsive, Abby has been very predictable for a long time, I think that this arrogance will bring her down at some point after the update with Abby's story (Abby's equivalent of Lilith's longing). Because at the end of the day, there's always someone smarter, and Becca has to experience that sooner or later too

Quite early in the plot, Becca says something about the pecking order within the Oxton-Shavell family:

At the beginning, Becca explains it to us as follows, using the old constellation:
1. Shannon, dominant personality.
2. Frank, "submissive" personality.
3. Becca, mixed personality.
4. Lilith, dominant personality.
5. Abby, "submissive" personality.

With Shannon out of the picture, according to Becca, they all moved up a notch. Based on her behaviors within the plot, however, I would arrange it as follows:

1. Becca, subtly dominant
2. Frank, same as before.
3. Lilith and Abby. Lilith is now more of a mixed type with a slight tendency towards dominant* while Abby is a mixed type with a tendency towards "submissive "**.

*The current Lilith is more open to the whole situation with Frank, Becca, herself and Mei than the old Lilith ever would have been.

**She is much more passive than her former stepsisters, however, after Lilly gave Frank the black eye, she shows that she can be different, and also in the current update she shows that she is not only passive.

Now that I have explained this, let me explain why I think Becca is the top chicken:

In some situations she has the final say, even if Frank would have a definite say. She's relatively subtle about it, though, because she doesn't want to be like her mother and emotionally emasculate Frank, especially since that would probably also turn Abby and Lilly against her. I do believe that she has sincere feelings for Frank unlike her mother, I remain convinced that Shannon was only dating Frank to hurt Jess at the time, however in a toned down form for me she does have certain negative characteristics of her mother that she uses.

As for why Lilly and Becca say Abby would be the person to name Frank's dick: Quite simply, she was the first of the three to see it up close and I believe in the face, even if it was an accident.

While overall that seems fairly accurate, I disagree about your use of "dominant" in reference to Becca. She is manipulative (not generally in the negative way), but that's not the same thing as dominant. Shannon was definitely dominant; Becca really is not when it comes to the MC. With Lilly, she has been dominant in the general sense, but it's more that she's the big sister so naturally overrules her younger sibling.

There is no comparison between Shannon and Becca in that regard. Let's use a slightly different term to highlight the difference: Shannon was domineering, lording her influence over everyone else — do what I say or you'll feel my wrath. Was Becca anything like that? No. It's not been "my way or the highway" for her, which is what a dominant personality is (drastically different with Shannon). There is a looming sense of threat in a dominant personality (undesirable sexual punishment unless you're a masochist, vindictiveness, etc.). Becca has never even hinted she intends anything like that.

IMO you're conflating manipulation (pushing the right buttons) with domination (subverting another's will by force). So, while I respect your efforts to reason this out — you've presented your arguments well — in my mind you've not met the burden of proof for them. So agree to disagree, although I have enjoyed the discussion. :)

Port city by some mountains with a hockey team that use to be good. Admittedly that last one had me thinking Toronto at first ;)
Not an NHL team though I would guess, some lower tier pro leage was the vibes I got. Though I wouldn't know for certain.

Started the most recent update today, didn't finish it yet, but this is the biggest example yet of something I've been thinking for a long time. Whoever is writing this game must think 39 is way older than it really is. I'm almost 39 and Frank talks like my Dad sometimes. Previously he didn't know how youtubers and streamers make money. And in this update he doesn't understand social media and is shocked that someone as sheltered as Meiko would find it easier to talk to people on the internet than in person. And there were lots of other times where I felt he seemed way older than 39. He isn't a 39 year old, he's a 60 year old.

My guess is the writer is on the younger side. Which is probably why Frank's teenage bedroom included a modern looking TV with a Rick and Morty poster and a fidget spinner. My guess is this was what the writer's teenage bedroom looks like, which means he was probably a teenager in 2017 or so. And he sees 39 year olds as ancient.

Oh well, still love the game by the way. It's one of my favorite porn games now. Just gotta get used to the writer thinking I'm an old man.

We don't know when the game takes place but it's safe to assume that it is the same time as when the game started being released aka 2020 but an alternative one without COVID-related stuff. That would mean Frank was born in 1981 and was 18 in 1997. So yeah. Kinda weird. But he was also super weirded out by a digital camera in a flashback and those became a regular thing around 1990 so maybe we are looking at the timeline wrong. Or the dev just made a mistake. It happens

It's at least remotely possible that Frank's parents avoided the internet, meaning he might not have access at home. Cell phones wouldn't have been ubiquitous in the 1990s; I can't remember if they've shown up in his flashbacks to his years with Jess. Someone with a strict-ish upbringing, who was not a particularly rebellious kid, might easily have a somewhat backward relationship with tech (and this might help explain his difficulty in adjusting to his altered relationships).

My son was born in 1988, and he wasn't expected to have his own laptop in high school (he used my computer when needed).

The first digital cameras very well may have been released but I certainly don't recall them becoming widely available to the masses as opposed to a luxury item that only the wealthy could afford until the early 2000's at least. In the UK anyway. I was born in 1981 and I can honestly proclaim a befuddlement over how some people can make so much money over social media and other things, though I will admit that there was a period of time where I had limited access to the internet myself due to limitations of infrastructure whilst I was serving in the military of my home country, which kind of coincided with the era of the early rise of the social media companies, as well as a disbelief as to how grubby and commercial the internet has become from the sort of innocent open source nirvana I kind of remember it being before the likes of Amazon, YouTube, Google and Facebook among others started to dominate. I'm not saying you're wrong about the timeline or the possibility of the dev making a mistake but for things such as technology progression a lot depends on socioeconomic position, country of residence and the like as to whether things are widely available or not and as such our perceptions are not always the same
