OMG, why is the text and screen changes so damn slow? The game as is is unplayable unless you're retired and can afford to sit around and wait 6 hours for one hour of content.

Talk with James while in your room. It starts the story, then at some point i talk with him there again and it plays a scene where chris is laying on bed, talking about being bored and staying in. That triggers the story, when you exit your room first part of it will play automatically, as far as i can remember

I have to agree that's why I rather wait for a save or for someone to Rio de CGs of the game and share them and it is a shame
