Just check out his discord, especially the "call-context" channel.

You'd be surprised how much time someone who apparently has serious health issues can spend on there happily shitposting.

It was NEVER about his health!
He might not be the healthiest individual on earth but that wouldn't stop him from doing animations.
He's simply used his "health issues" as an excuse to scam people without repercussions. :cautious:
Hi, do you have a invite link for the discord servers ? it seem that the link in his subscribestar don’t work anymore.

I mean there is no way its not I recognized that voice from anyway being she in like 90% of my favorite animes
Ya same, but if that is her, I still don't understand how Skudd got her to do the show/why she agreed to do it. I mean, it keeps me up at night wondering how Skudd got the golden ticket to Wonka's factory.

It still kills me to not know how he even got ahold of her. If I were a rich man, I'd pay him the same amount he paid her, just for him to tell me how he did it lol

As far as I know, she doesn't have a website and mostly just takes jobs from Funimation and I don't assume he just met her at a con one time and asked her "hey wanna voice this devil girl for a hentai I'm making" so I'm at a loss on how you even get someone like her on the phone for something like this.

Just wanted to give you all a quick update on the Gwen Project and Skudd. As you all know, the project got shut down last October because of Skudd’s "medical condition." But like I mentioned before, it wasn’t really that, he’s just a moody person. Anyway, since then, people have been asking him if he’s gonna work on the project again, and his answer has always been a firm "no."

However, Two guys from the Discord, M84-3D and Naes, are trying to finish it up on their own. Some of what they’ve done isn’t great at all (the video below), but they’re really giving it their all and asking Skudd and others for help and feedback, but they’re not really getting much help.

Here’s the funny part (and kinda annoying) : someone brought up a film project that got delayed because fans requested changes on the film, and told Skudd he shouldn’t listen to his audience regarding Gwen Project, and Skudd kinda blamed his Subs for the delay in his response, saying that’s why the project has taken so long. Like, really? That’s just wild .

And as expected, yesterday someone asked about Skudd’s health situation, and he responded that he is recovering . So, he’ll probably post an announcement at the end of this year, and he’ll hype his fans about a new project. Expect this to happen by the end of the
year.

Thanks for the update buddy! (y):giggle:

However I'd advice everybody to not get their hopes up regarding further projects and/or especially his cancelled Gwen Animation.

As you've already pointed out the issues with Skudd were never about his "medical condition".
They're about his lack of character and integrity.

The reality of the situation is that even though Skudd is an amazing 3dx-Artist (without a doubt one of the best out there) he simply can't be trusted.
Therefore any speculation regarding future projects will most likely lead to nothing but disappointments.
If some time in the future Skudd releases some quality porn again cool, but I definitely wouldn't count on it.

As for those two trying to "finish" the Gwen project...
Come on now, there's only one person who can/has the moral (and in a perfect world also legal) obligation to finish it and that's Skudd!
In case it isn't obvious by now I don't think much of him anymore but if it comes to animating porn please don't act like someone with his skills, experience and talent can simply be replaced by however many guys from his discord.
As much as I'd love to cope it's simply not possible to "replace" Skudd.
Whoever believes/tries to argue otherwise is just asking for another massive disappointment.

Unfortunately 3dx nowadays is all about managing expectations, it's sad but it's true. :cautious:

And the worst thing is that the character he created, "Meru", will not go beyond his few "episodes", and the rest will be pure images created by the community, both for usage rights and because the original creator will always be in the shadow of the character and any project that is born without him is a work that will be destined to go wrong, so I doubt that anyone will use the character or any of the other characters presented.

Another similar case is Derpixon. Literally, the bastard created an interesting (not original, but interesting) foundation with their role-playing miniseries, only for it to end up all screwed and interesting concepts thrown in the trash due to a "lack of desire."

I understand that obviously not everyone wants or can handle the weight a fandom can carry, even if they were paid millions for it, but seriously, with the recent closures of so many artists leaving and works in this genre that are already "classics" ending or closing, the future looks very bad or sad in terms of real content. Because, although interesting, artificial intelligence can never replace handwork and, above all, an idea born from creativity and not from an algorithm.

And of course, there are also the morons who already betray their community and, thanks to the "support" of the "platforms," get away with it, which generates fear or distrust in people when it comes to supporting the new generation and, therefore, the need to fall into the vagueness that using AI is the only option to continue, rather than being an option among others. God... what a terrible cycle we're in, huh?

Just FYI Meru is a character by another artist who goes by Merunyaa. That artist worked with Skudd to produce the animation. The OG Character of Meru is still having new illustrations produced by the true original artist, it's not just 'images created by the community." Highly recommend checking out their work.

In point of fact, Skudd did not create Meru. Merunyaa did. He animated the project with her permission.

Yeah, but we're back to the same point: who would dare to make a sequel to what would have been a "Season 2" with Skudd's shadow looming over them?

Of course, the animation wasn't of the highest quality, but it was pretty well done, and that's the sad part. Because of smaller "walls or obstacles" than this, there are several examples of projects or ideas that no one touches or continues, either out of respect or because it's a hornet's nest that no one wants to touch.

It only remains to be seen if a miracle happens... because while there will always be new ideas or projects out there, that doesn't mean that when you see the potential in something that's going to waste, you don't feel a little sad for what could have been.

And of course... then, on the other hand, we have ideas or projects that don't know when it's time to end, and their future is almost a disgrace, but that's a different topic altogether.

It's not like calling a creator a "bastard" isn't very nice of costructive. It makes you look like a entitled a-hole
