Hopefully he'll have fixed the issue with the fapets getting replaced on game restart and the bug where the Kelpies don't do anything even after talking to TC about it

1) get the milk type solicited by the ncp
2) press the middle mouse button to target her
3) select the cup of milk from your inventory
4) hold the left mouse button and select the option you want (sell or gift)
Bonus: if you want to rape her after selling the milk, look at the clothing request above the ncp head and dress/undress according it.
Then press Shift + Enter into the npc

I've checked it, the "Challenges" named during the Free Mode tutorial are related to the Story Mode.
There are not challenges inside the free mode (at least not yet)

the "rank" is just a how developed a being is inside the game (during story mode you will find fapets being capable of talk and walk, that is a high rank)
So don't mind about it.
You know the type of milk by talking with the npc, they will say a name like Warng, Stallion, Kelpie, etc.
Or just see text above their heads, it will say the type of fapet they like
