Kat might be non-related to witch coven. (Remember there were a big party, so there are plenty of participants.)
I prefer an option Kat is independent dominatrix way below the bitches radar, like Trixie. We don't know what Trixie will reveal. lol no thats not what a target is and its not "hackers". a target means they subscribe to sleepy's account and actively post all the latest updates as soon as it is posted on free forums like this one. when sleepy blocks one account they just subscribe with another or heck that other account may already be subscribed with a dozen more or so.

A target is when they basically throw money at the problem. their goal is either revenge with the outcome being viewers like us Knowing that those people/ groups would just release sleepy artwork every time thus hindering his profit so that subscribers like me would unsubscribe from him or just simply releasing a wanted piece of art with no malicious reason behind it other than releasing it. Basically if you knew sleepygimps work was always going to be leaked by these people then you would have no reason to subscribe "at least that's what they think". its basically what is done to most Mainstream pornsites, we dont often look at it like a target but that's because we have all gotten used to the latest brazzers scenes being available to torrent or stream so we don't see brazzers torrents as a targeted leak. Brazzers release a new scene and within 10 mins of it coming out Multiple Torrent websites already have it available in the highest quality, Now that's the obvious one that everyone is completely used to. Brazzers and companies like that already make enough money and i doubt these people are targeting them for any form of stupid revenge but regardless its still a target.

for example Dredd who is a very popular male pornstar and occasionally releases scenes has been a target for at least 3 years now or even more, what that means is when he posts a video their will always be someone who buys it and posts it on torrent sites, or sites like K2s, or telegram groups all for free. hence only a couple thousand people or so actually buy it from him while 100's of thousands download/watch it for free. So my original post was that when an artist like sleepygimp's work goes for a period of time with no update then sometimes these people/groups end up targeting that creator/artist and they do this buy actively just posting his or her work in as many places as possible, they always pay money for it they are not hackers they just crowd source the money. if you want to see a more open, obvious and honest version of this check e-hentai forums where lots of translation groups get donations and use that money to buy Japanese Hentai comics, translate them and post them for free. those Japanese artist are targets, they are not malicious targets but still they are targets.

So in short no hacker is wasting their time hacking patreon and if they did they would not post it online for free, instead they would create a backdoor where they would constantly take and keep all the data such as bank details, identities, addresses, content etc etc and likely encrypt them and attempt to blackmail patreon for a couple of million or so, they would certainly not be posting it online for free on porn forums as that would be stupid.

Right, I don't usually post on here, but I'll add my two cents on the issue.

Indeed, it is a form of piracy, I fully agree with that. However, the patreon system has kind of warped the price of what artists are offering.

If I take my own example, I mostly enjoy the To Catch/Break a Thief series. The rest is fine but not my cup of tea.

If I subscribed every month to Sleepy's content, I would pay €120 a year for 60 colored pages. Now, I live in France, we have Bandes Dessinées here (French-Belgian comic books), and 60 pages is more or less the average length of one - except it costs €12 to €15. Even if it's niche, fetish content, €120 for 60 pages is just an absurd rate.

So I only subscribe one or two months a year to support his work - and the rest of the time I wait for leaks. Because he's not the only content creator around here whose work I enjoy (even if he does have a niche and style), and I don't think everybody can afford paying hundred of euros/dollars every month just to feed their kinks. If I take just one other example from an artist with roughly similar themes - SneakAttack is €/$12 a month on Patreon. It can very quickly add up.

Plus, without leaks...I would never have known about him to begin with. I use big sites such as 8muses or e-hentai, but I have never thoroughly searched Patreon or Subscribestar for new content I might enjoy. Advertising NSFW works is kinda hard, and putting the works for free on huge platforms is a great way to get new fans. It's not like there is a review website that posts monthly critics of the best bondage illustrators.

So - I do not think shaming those who share content is productive. Maybe you faithfully pay Sleepy €/$10 every month and feel robbed when you see others are enjoying the same privileges for free - but after that leak, it's likely a few people will either learn about Sleepy's existence, or decide that the quality of his work warrants subscribing to him, either permanently or once in a while.

And for those who think Sleepy is paranoid...no, he's not. There's an hentai artist named Godletter who only sells his works once every, what, three-four months? If you subscribe to him outside of those sales, tough luck, you gotta wait (and pay to be warned). And when it's open, the first time, you basically have to buy his entire collection of previous works - you can't decide to only enjoy the latest volume. Now, I relied on Google Translate to see how it works and what prices we were talking about - and the entire collection was worth several hundred dollars. That's the entry fee to be allowed to then add the price of the latest volume.

That's the level of paranoia that makes you lose customers. Sleepy is nowhere near that.

I didn't really understand where the "funniest" is here, but it seems to me that I was one of the first to say that: We are pirates here.
