On top of artists, one would also need to be or hire a good level designer. The maps were actually very well done. It shows that people on the team had good understanding of how to make DOOM click. Not everyone may have noticed it consciously, but the difference between playing a well-made map and something just slapped together for the porn bits would be stark. Continuing without similarly skilled designers would likely result in a disappointing outcome.

seems like it was more about money than the enjoyment of creating something fun. otherwise the project might have been finished. just finish the fucking game first. at least that is what I would try to do before showing people what you've worked on. if the game is done (and its good) people will spread it. but it has to be good. this developer seemed like they knew enough about what makes a game "fun" to deliver a finished thing I can spend my money on. BUT real life can seriously get in the way so maybe they just had too much real shit going on to bother with making a half-assed coomer shooter. thank you dev for trying

It greatly saddens me that those big titty kitty enemies may never get animations.

I have no idea about making games or programing. I appreciate the effort made though and would say I hope that they don't give up forever on this project. If by some chance the dev saw this thread and read the posts.

I would addmy voice to what some of the others said above.$10 for a game that is still in development is going to rub a lot of potential buyers the wrong way. A lot of the successful indy devs understand a lower price point and making the effort to create a community that you listen to and interact with goes a long way.

As far as I'm concerned this game was going in a very good direction. I would encourage the person making it that even if you don't come back to this to (Which again I very much hope they do) to carry the things you've learned to a new game. I've played a lot of H games from devs who only had like one or two games under their belt and thought that I wish they had more games or I wish they finished this game.

The biggest hurdle from my observation is exposure. I think creating good will and sometimes even working for "free" on a passion project. People have to eat though, but on compromise would be to make this a side hussle deal and not go full on thinking it was going topay the bills. That's easiersaid then done though. To the dev you have a vision for this and I hope one day you return with something else or to continue this project with new insight.

The app you want is called Delta Touch. I have never used it, however. That said, I am almost sure running this as a Doom 2 mod will work perfectly, and you can find many tutorials, specifically for Delta Touch, on how to do that.
Nope, it doesn't work this way mods are a pk3 file, not a whole folder so I don't think it would work

You got a whole folder because they bundled a version of GZDoom with it to make it run out of the box.
The "jotun.ipk3" is the actual content file.
Then how can I use that ipk3 file, if Delta touch doesn't see this kind of format, it sees only wad and pk3

Don't know what DeltaTouch is for a Doom Port, but you could try to rename the .ipk3 to pk3.
You'll probably need then an Doom.wad or Doom2.wad for the engine to play ball.
The .iwad or .ipk3 means that this is a standalone total conversion and does not need any assets from the original Doom.
Otherwise the engines look for an original Doom (Hexen, Strife, etc) .wad, and adds the content of the wad/pk3 (even if it overrides everything).

I haven't played it yet, but too bad this is abandoned, I really liked the art. The demon in the banner is totally my style.

If the Dev reads this thread, I do think it's really worth pointing out that this isn't a personal failure. Marketing a hentai boomer shooter is....not an easy task. And the doom community is understandably not going to hop too on board for a NSFW thing like this. YOu're clearly not bad at design, but if you do a NSFW game you're inherently limiting your reach.
