ITT: People who get the game for free but bitch about devs milking them for their $0.
Also ITT: People who have no clue about sustaining income on a demand based economy - it relies on product releases, not delays. ("Milking" doesn't maintain income, it decreases it. Even small releases of miniscule amount of content maintains, if not increases, income.)
Also, also ITT: People who may be donating to the developer but decide that instead of stop donating, they continue just so they can bitch.
Also, also, also ITT: Trolls. There be trolls.
Well, no. pretty much all of this is wrong…objectively so I’ll keep this post objective.
First point; there’s more than one way to milk something, you can milk interest. Also many of the people talking about milking are talking about the people who are spending money being milked allegedly.
Second point: No. that’s not how crowdfunding projects work. You earn money for the promise of a futures product, and you can earn money without producing anything…which is what people are accusing him of. Milking and drawing out projects is definitely profitable. Just because you try to sound authoritative doesn’t mean your statements are correct. This is at best naive and at worst a mistruth. There have been severa infamous examples, and a few big one son this site
Third point: These are the people being allegedly milked, so they have valid complaints if they choose to complain. If they choose to support the project, that’s all the more reason NOT to milk them. I don’t even know why you would say tus
Final point, I said “pretty much” wrong but this might be the ambiguous part. There ARE trolls on this thread. There are relatively few of them, but they are here. You might be one of them.
You tried to sound smart but you just ended up babbling nonsense.
