They should have made an announcement already telling where the project is standing, like, "we almost there", "we still have a long way", etc. Like i said on the forums, just forget about it and if one day comes out, pirate it.

That's the worst thing, it shows the disastrous management of the project, first a dlc, then a sequel, other multiple projects in the works, dlc canceled and becomes a remake, sequel totally stopped, all other projects on hold since the remake announcement and still almost nothing of the remake showed or informed.

I do come here to look for news on their next game. As if it would ever happen, lmao. But this game hits a lot of my regular search terms and just pops up very high on the list. So I'm reminded by this amazing game and the disastrous team that made it.

I feel pitty for people who actually think they'll ever produce anything again.

I lost count of all the hate I got here and on other forums for just saying the truth, without being biased. PPLZ just hate that and throw hate at you because you're not blind. Just leave them be. Reality will eventually catch up sooner or later.

I could respect his choice to leave this business behind him(lets be honest its not the kind of thing you want to do for the rest of your life) but the way he has done is just criminal. Several projects started, none finished and even the one he technically handed off to someone else is stuck in production limbo.
Dude deserves a kick in the nuts at the very least.

It was the only choice he had to leave with some respect for himself. After having so many projects unfinished and struggling so much to develop them, handing the wheel to someone else was the only right choice he could do.

Well, on the steam forum, like May or June; on Subscribestar there was never a news update, they just dropped one or 2 previews some other time but never write about the development status... annnd well, the one on steam forum isn't a News update either, it's just some talking from criticalbliss about everything they are making and "how it is so good, and so new, and so on", so, i would say never.

I just checked on something because i got curious... i jumped to page 71 on this threat to see "i am sure half of of the pages here are already not about the game but about issues with the development team".

And sure enough, page 71 is from the time they got their patreon shut 4 years ago (the beginning of the end), and people were already saying 'Tropical daze will take a long while it seems"... so yeah, people in this threat, as it stands now... have been without hope in the development of the games of the developers for LONGER than they have been talking about the game itself. over 71 pages out of the 142 of slowly losing hope.

kinda tragic for a VN that was good when it came out and the developers of Overwhored, a considered classic in nsfw gaming.

Yep, even the first game was a hell development, it was slow as fuck, and if i don't remember bad, the last 2 day of the game took even longer, the development almost like stopped. And then here we are.

Snow Dave devs finished the first game and right away announced a sequel (Tropical Daze).
with time that got the axe and instead they announced Re-Daze, which was a full-on remake of Snow Daze (yes, remaking a game that was no older than 2-3 years) with new art, new voice acting, and, apparently, additional content... and that has been the past 5 years with no relevant news, stalling making up excuses, not showing barely anything other than promo art and not that much besides that and just milking their paid subscribers.

Ok this is very sad, this was one of the best mind control games I played, I was even excited when I saw the comments talking about an att, now I'm sad hahaha.
Both a sequel and a remake would be welcome, but 5 years of waiting is a bit annoying, and I think waiting for an update to Bones' Tales: The Manor that comes out once a year with luck was a pain hahaha. And in this case, Bones' Tales is one of the best of its kind in my opinion.
If the game is very good, keep in mind that it will take a while for the updates to come out, the universe did this to balance things hahahaha

Man. At this point…imagine what they have to be doing for at least a playable demo not to be out. Nothing that’s what. They had to leave it on a shelf for months. Only dusting it off a couple times a year AT MOST.

just say the damn thing is canceled and people aren’t getting their money back at this point. I’m just glad I’ve never gave him a cent.
