a question that may seem stupid, what exactly are you talking about, I thought the game had already been finished.
Did the dev promise something?

Snow Dave devs finished the first game and right away announced a sequel (Tropical Daze).
with time that got the axe and instead they announced Re-Daze, which was a full-on remake of Snow Daze (yes, remaking a game that was no older than 2-3 years) with new art, new voice acting, and, apparently, additional content... and that has been the past 5 years with no relevant news, stalling making up excuses, not showing barely anything other than promo art and not that much besides that and just milking their paid subscribers.

Ok this is very sad, this was one of the best mind control games I played, I was even excited when I saw the comments talking about an att, now I'm sad hahaha.
Both a sequel and a remake would be welcome, but 5 years of waiting is a bit annoying, and I think waiting for an update to Bones' Tales: The Manor that comes out once a year with luck was a pain hahaha. And in this case, Bones' Tales is one of the best of its kind in my opinion.
If the game is very good, keep in mind that it will take a while for the updates to come out, the universe did this to balance things hahahaha

Man. At this point…imagine what they have to be doing for at least a playable demo not to be out. Nothing that’s what. They had to leave it on a shelf for months. Only dusting it off a couple times a year AT MOST.

just say the damn thing is canceled and people aren’t getting their money back at this point. I’m just glad I’ve never gave him a cent.

1-Snow daze gets finished, Cypress announces one more day to the game.
2-Cypress also announces a sequel, tropical daze.
3-Another project, hypnolab
4-The extra day mentioned on the first point now it's gonna be a dlc.
5-Shit goes on, now they announced the remade of several things (actually I don't if this happens before or after the extra days became a dlc plan)
6-More shit, now the whole game it's gonna be a remake (lets not forget that they were having others projects aside that stopped being developed since the remake announcement if I'm not wrong)
7-The hiring of a team of artist and writers (now imagine the money they were getting to do this)
8-Time goes by, multiple attempt to say something to the fans through patreon or subscribestar are futile since they never speak about the development status.
9-A shit comic got done in the meantime to give a sort of compensation to fans (shit comic and shit thing to do to fans)
10-Everything falls apart, team of writers and artist gone, project still on the mist.
11-At this point i guess Cypress accepted the fate (you won't get money for doing nothing, less for lying to fans) and partnership with Critical Piss.
12- 2023 steam version gets announced with a release date 2024.
13-Cypress gives the whole game to critical piss to finish the development while he "oversees" that the game it's faithful to what he wanted (it is, it's a fucking scam lol)
14-Critical piss makes a log on the steam discussions in the same form cypress did, game status still in the mist.
15-Now here we are, almost ending 2024 and still not even near a demo.

Something i forgot is that Cypress keeps saying a demo will come out before the game, but like i said, we are ending 2024 and still not a demo of nothing.

I can relate. Instead of studying for work I am playing Baldur's Gate 3 while watching a 2 hour documentary about the 2024 US election and eating snacks.

The best thing you guys can do now is going into the steam discussion forum and spam the critical bliss post and the general discussion thread with questions about the game release date, maybe that will trigger some response but i still doubt it. So if you guys have some spare time, kindly do it.

Yep, even the first game was a hell development, it was slow as fuck, and if i don't remember bad, the last 2 day of the game took even longer, the development almost like stopped. And then here we are.

Cypress is kind of like Spoony in that way. The rate at which he was going is impossible to achieve without doing nothing for entire months for...well reasons. Originally Snow Daze itself was meant to be quick side project to be done in a year or less but then it took like 5+ years to do. The excuses for it were also utterly retarded as he basically claimed that he had spent a year revising character designs only to then settle for the very first sketches released.
