I guess the Previous button must be broken for people to skim through recent posts?

From the previous page:
This game is completed. It has a beginning, a middle, an end.

If you mean a remake, just forget about it ever happenlng and you'll be much happier.
The demo was never coming out this year nor the game like the steam page said, we all knew that by all the evidence of Cypress development. They already changed the steam release date from 2024 to "to be announced" since they don't have any shit done, they scammed every supporter. Worst thing is that they still don't drop any hard date for it, not even 2025, and that's after 4 years of being developed.

They don't even have a date for demo, and they already told publicly that the first day of the Redaze game has more content than the first game itself, how can you not have a demo after saying that? It's not logical at all. That's why we know Cypress burnt all the money supporters gave to him, you can't explain it otherwise.

The censored version of Ntraholic:Remake (another game "developed" by Critical BS) is supposed to drop in 4 days. When that happens, it seems logical that Critical BS will dedicate more of its energy to developing/completing Snow Daze (in the next year or two).

This clown of a producer company works retardedly slowly. Unfortunately it has a good eye for snagging promising porn IP.

Did they say "next year or two"?

This is a textbook example of Patreon/SubscribeStar rug pull.

It will keep happening unless these platforms come up with a method to ensure deadlines or some form of accountability.

At this point, someone else should take over and just finish the remake for good.
That already happened, Cypress, the original developmer, handled the whole project to critical bliss in mid 2024 more or less, now yes, critical piss should be fucked

Also, everyone on the steam discussions threads already lost any hope left for this project, thank God.

You made me go check, and I'm amused that the most recent posts on a bunch of the discussions is one guy doing the "It'll happen Guys! I'm so excited! Stop discouraging the devs with your comments!" bit. The delusion is impressive.

For anyone wondering how the story of this goes, here you a resume:

1-Snow daze gets finished, Cypress announces one more day to the game.
2-Cypress also announces a sequel, tropical daze.
3-Another project, hypnolab
4-The extra day mentioned on the first point now it's gonna be a dlc.
5-Shit goes on, now they announced the remade of several things (actually I don't if this happens before or after the extra days became a dlc plan)
6-More shit, now the whole game it's gonna be a remake (lets not forget that they were having others projects aside that stopped being developed since the remake announcement if I'm not wrong)
7-The hiring of a team of artist and writers (now imagine the money they were getting to do this)
8-Time goes by, multiple attempt to say something to the fans through patreon or subscribestar are futile since they never speak about the development status.
9-A shit comic got done in the meantime to give a sort of compensation to fans (shit comic and shit thing to do to fans)
10-Everything falls apart, team of writers and artist gone, project still on the mist.
11-At this point i guess Cypress accepted the fate (you won't get money for doing nothing, less for lying to fans) and partnership with Critical Piss.
12- 2023 steam version gets announced with a release date 2024.
13-Cypress gives the whole game to critical piss to finish the development while he "oversees" that the game it's faithful to what he wanted (it is, it's a fucking scam lol)
14-Critical piss makes a log on the steam discussions in the same form cypress did, game status still in the mist.
15-Now here we are, almost ending 2024 and still not even near a demo.

Something i forgot is that Cypress keeps saying a demo will come out before the game, but like i said, we are ending 2024 and still not a demo of nothing.
I remember in one of his Youtube videos, Cypress alluded to the fact the delay of Tropical Daze or of the remake was due to the artists not wanting to work with him anymore or something like that (he phrased it as something like "the artists of the art mines are on strike").

I have no clue what he meant by this. Could it be possible the contract signed by the artists (if there was any) made it so that the artists retained ownership of their work, and that therefore when they left the project was left with no art at all?

EDIT: from what I read , Sleepymaid was one of the artists.

2017 lmao 6 years by now. I wont be surprised if his artists didn't want to work anymore, pretty sure they were underpaid or even weren't being paid anymore and thats why he had to partnership with CB. I mean, look at this, all this started 4 years ago, when it was going to be just one more day and now here we are, all this time gone and cypress can't even show a demo of 5 min, this dude didn't just scammed his fans, he surely scammed his employees too.

I really see no point in investigating who was the first art team and i'm tired of this shitty dev, but if someone wants it, it would be nice to have a word from a real ex member of the project.

Sleepy maid did the artwork for Overwhored if memory serves me right and sort of carried over into Snow Daze. What most likely happened was that the artists simply got tired of his bullshit, left and had enough professionalism in them not to smear him on the web.

I base this on the fact that for about 2 years of Snow Daze's development Cypress was constantly excusing the lack of updates with "concept reworks". Essentially according to him they were constantly reworking the girls and their personalities... and that turned out to be a pile of bullshit. The earliest concept art he showed for the cast not only contained all the characters, names and what would happen to them in game but on top of that they looked identical to their final design. The only difference was the artstyle. Meaning that at best he has spent two years reworking shit only to settle for the first idea he had or that he was full of shit.

Either way for artists this is a sort of arrangement they cannot really stay in for long because they have their own jobs, commissions and life to worry about. They cannot be perpetually on the line waiting for some patreon baby to call them with a new idea for 2+ years. So solid chances are that Cypress simply chased them away.

Yeah, i saw that bullshit of character desing rework and on the end he used the first desing that was made, literally the most retarded behaviour he could have. And yes, pretty sure it was Cypress who make the artist go away.

Great game. The plot and gameplay are super, as are the genres of Mind Control, Corruption and so on, I liked everything very much. The downside for me is the complicated gameplay with a bunch of choices that affect the game, fortunately there is a walkthrough and a mod, so it wasn't too stressful to complete the game))) I expected a simpler ending, but I was very pleased, especially the fact that the characters' true feelings are revealed at the end of the game, and the impression from the game becomes completely different, for me personally, much more pleasant.)) I really liked the game, but there is also one more small downside for "me", in the final "days" the author often mentioned "yuri" in dialogues, it's a pity these H scenes with art are not in the game, Yuri himself is there, but I personally would like more))) because the mentions there are very hot)))) Also at the end of the "True ending" very interesting things are mentioned, it's a pity that there is no continuation about them, I would be very happy to watch, at least for a continuation of the "incest" theme, as a small but very interesting addition to the game, about the aunt's family. I think it would be fun and hot to play this, again "if only" there was a sequel))))
